Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOur dislike is an ongoing issue in all hotels - SMOKING. No one should be allowed to smoke on the balconies, on the terraces by the bars and not around the pool. Our balcony became a no zone area for us because the person was smoking in the room next door. We had to go jn and shut our balcony door. The people who sit on the terraces smoking - the smoke rises and goes straight into the rooms. We like to sit on the balcony at night after dinner but the smoke smell meant we had to go into our room and close the door. A single smoking zone should be mandatory outside the front of the hotel rather than on the balconies and terraces. It really is that simple to solve this dreadful problem.
Breakfast times were good and there was plenty of choice for my husband. I took my own gluten free bread but there was no separate toaster which for people who are cealiac is a big issue because of cross contamination. Hotel is lovely and clean, staff are friendly and were patient with me as I practiced speaking spanish. Our sevond stay and we will be back.

A little dated but super clean. The food was great. The staff were really helpful. There’s a really good bike store and the location was good for Denia centre and the port area

United KingdomIt was quite a nosiey as you could hear the people next door. The bed was a little uncomfortable but that is probably more because it was very soft which I am not used to. The pillow was uncomfortable but we spoke to the reception and got different ones which were good.
Lovely hotel but needs a little bit of a freshen up as it is looking a little tired. Staff were lovely and very helpful which was great especially as we was going through a difficult time. The on site , facilities looked great but we didn't use them. The is lots of things close by and lots of places to eat and drink. Breakfast was great to so much choice.

The breakfast had a good choice and catered well for us. I know this hotel well and the location suited us as it is fairly central to walk around to the amenities in Denia.

Spain- you can hear the tv of the neighbor - no warm water in the outdoor pools - The buffet is excellent, we have eaten very well, fish, rice, meats, but some rice or meatballs that seem to be from a canned one give a bad impression. - no miniclub or minidisco for kids
- kids playground area - indoor pool in February - cleanliness

SpainGot a single bed, which I don't like. The rooms and corridors feel really dated. The gym needed a bit of attention. The juice and coffee at breakfast were garbage.
The breakfast was really good on the whole, with loads of fruit and plenty of options, even full English - plus there was some variety each day. There's a lot of free street parking round abouts. It's 2 mins to the sea. The gardens are pretty and the pool looked good, if it wasn't December. The free WIFI was super fast - 50 or 60Mb/s.

IrelandDidn’t know about the construction works when booking or when I arrived. In fairness it did not affect my sleep etc. it was when lying by the pool the drilling was disturbing. When checking out didn’t find the staff member friendly didn’t ask if everything was ok about my stay. Just took card key & didn’t even say thank you or goodbye.
It was convenient & it was a good price.
