Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomCan't think of anything.
This is our second time of staying at Hotel San Jorge, the gentleman receptionist who greeted us on arrival at around 1830 was cheerful, friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally situated for the Ferry Port and is only a 15 minute walk from the marina and an area with lots of bars and cafes. The bedroom is clean, with comfortable beds and (since our previous visit) a new Grundig Smart TV; the towels are large (Brittany Ferries could learn something here - their towels are tiny). Breakfast is self service with coffee from "Nespresso - type" pods and a good selection of meats and cheeses and juices. Good value and a secure underground garage with large parking bays.

United KingdomNothing really except it does not have a restaurant, but being in town there are plenty around.
Very clean and comfortable and the breakfast (continental) had the largest choice of food we’ve seen in any hotel. Also the garage parking was a bonus as the car was full. Very close to the ferry port about 10 or 15 minutes away.

United States of AmericaNo Air conditioner. Can’t sleep. Noise outside even when window is closed. Someone smoking right below our window and when opened, we can smell the smoke in the room. We spend 33 euro each three times for taxi to get early to intromodal to catch early bus as the metro is not running until 5:57am. It takes 30 minutes by train to be in town and extra costs everyday two ways. No restaurants around to eat good meals.
Big room close to the Metro station but far from downtown. Cleaning lady very nice. 24 hours desk service. There are two that were very helpful. The other one is so and do. The lady is not friendly at all.

United States of AmericaNo air conditioning and no available fan. Luckily, the temperature had dropped from the previous week. In addition, there was no cleaning gel in the dispenser inside the shower. The dispenser next to the sink had cleaning gel. It made no sense to try to reach across from the shower to the sink to obtain gel to clean oneself. This is a mistake that should be corrected immediately.
The person managing the reception desk was exceptional. His English was very good, and he was so helpful in providing me information that I needed. He was warm and welcoming. It was the best customer service that I had received during my seven days on the Camino thus far. In addition, the breakfast was a nice feature.

PortugalThe room didn't had AC
I was free upgraded to a suite. The room was large, had a large confy bed, with a wc large and well equiped. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was probably the best I had on a 2 stars hotel. The food was constantly being replenished. The locations it's quiet, safe, nice and with a metro and bus stop nearby. there are supermarket's nearby in case something is needed.

SpainMy bed was not as comfortable as I anticipated when I sat on it, when it felt as if it was going to be “firm” which is my preference, but sadly this did not prove to be so, and I could not find a reason for this, perhaps Iwas over tired from the trip from Javea.
Breakfast was good lots of choice for a warm day. Coffee good. Staff always helpful and accepted our attempt at Spanish and helpful in responding in English to help us out!
