We liked absolutely everything , so clean and well set up , we had an issue with the iron and I texed maintenance and within 20 minutes we had a brand new iron in box delivered .

Nothing, everything was great.

Lovely villa, spacious and well equipped. Having the pool heated was a good decision and there was aircon in the villa, though we didn't need to use it often. We hired a car to get around but could also walk into central Playa Blanca. The villa provided us with a great base to relax, Netflix was available on the TV and there were books and a Nintendo Wii. Communicating with the villa host was really good. The villa is private and we had a peaceful week and we would book again.

There was no housekeeping during our 2 week stay. Extra towels and sheets were provided but the bottom sheet was a double for a king size bed! I could not get any English channels on the TV, via the box, it kept saying no signal. We tried to use the pass at the Tropical Island spa but it was closed for maintenance. The walk back to the villa after an evening out in the town.

We really enjoyed our stay at the well furnished private villa. We paid to have the pool heater on, so we could use the pool. We also paid for a starter pack, which meant we could make a drink on arrival. There was only two of us, so it was good having 2 bathrooms. The pool man came 4 times during our stay.

My only negative comment would be there were stray cats in the street which came into the garden. I am not a cat lover so that was an issue for me.

Villa was very clean and well furnished with everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Lovely pool which was the warmest we have had in the last 5 years. Any issues were answered very quickly and resolved by Juan. A very quiet area of villas about a 20 minutes stroll into town which was fine for us.

Fabulous villa, clean, comfortable with everything you need to relax. 20 mins walk to centre of Playa Blanca or reliable taxi Company o ly approx 3.50 euros Communication was 1st class with letting company, couple of small probs were responded to and resolved immediately. Would definitely return

It’s getting a little dated, needs a new sofa. We did have a problem with the heating of the pool and it was cold for one day, considering we had paid per day it would have been good to offer a refund for that day. Otherwise all good. When the pool was warm it was fantastic!

Comfortable and well resourced, including washing tablets, books, pool ball etc! Lovely spacious villa. Good communication from the staff and very clean.

Property very good. It would be useful to have more than one key though..one key opened everything. Should have minimum 2 in case there was a fire. Also would be lovely to have some details of things to do, restaurant recommendations and nearest supermarket in the folder

Comfortable villa for four people Heated pool a nice touch( at extra cost). Cleaners came in mid way through stay, changing linens & towels. Pool guy came in a couple of times. Good to have a washing machine.

Loved the whole villa like a home away from home. Had the pool heated so swam everyday and chilled around the pool. Pool staff were lovely. Villa was clean on arrival we cooked and used the amenities. We had a fabulous time

It is quite a walk from the town and coast, about 1.2 miles, although we enjoyed the walk most days and there are plenty of taxis around, especially for the trip back.

We had a fabulous week at Sun Grove Villas and Spa. The villa was spacious, comfortable, quiet, clean and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the pool and spent lots of time in it. The beds were comfortable and we slept really well. I would definitely recommend it.

the kitchen was full of tiny ants/bugs they were everywhere and even a jar of Nutella with the lid on they somehow swarmed, we kept everything in the fridge, they villa did provide a lovely cleaning kit which included bug spray this was used regularly, if you were having anything to eat it’s best to put it on a plate and tidy up straight away, the lighting in the twin room was very poor could do with a ceiling light, the tiles around the pool got very slippery and my son took a fall also there was a tiny step and that was hard to see we all tripped on it at some stage throughout the stay but it blended in with the floor, It was lovely to have a washing machine but the spin cycle wasn’t great and clothing came out very damp but we squeezed them out and they would be dry in a day

It was a beautiful villa spacious the pool was just ideal it was safe had steps down at one end and we used it a lot, the outside area was beautiful and clean, master bedroom was just off the outside area big bed comfortable and en-suite bathroom, a comfortable twin room with great wardrobe, the living/dining area was fab and the villa has air-con in both bedrooms and living/dining room it was about a 15min walk to the town, we used to walk down and get a taxi back

The main let down was the pool it looked bigger and with the seated area underwater around the sides the usable area was a half the length of the pool, my daughter could do the splits and her feet hit each side of the pool with her head out of the water. The pool wasn't cleaned, A guy came once when the cover was on and tested the water that was it. - we filled the pool as the level was dropping and there was a tide mark around the pool. I didn't come to swim lengths etc but the size was a little disappointing as I booked it as the pool looked larger. The James villa leaflets outdated, bulb in master bedroom not working and afew were out around the bathroom mirrors - I never reported the bulbs so just letting you know now so no big deal. I enjoyed the stay and would come again, the only negative is the above but it didn't spoil the holiday.

I liked the villa, quiet location, but bit of a walk to shops and back - but that's why it was quiet. Beds were comfy too.

The ants! We avoided eating in the villa as the ants appeared all over the kitchen at the first sign of food.

Villa is very well equipped with everything we needed as a young family. Nice quiet area, pool area is fabulous. It a short taxi ride to the centre or about a 10/15min stroll. Contactless check in and out very easy.

The pool was out of action for 2 of the 7 days we were there . Which was very disappointing. Considering this is one of the reasons we booked the villa. This was our third time staying here, and we had never had an issue before. But this was very disappointing.

The space the location is quiet. The villa had everything we needed.

The villa was very private and the Outlook amazing. The garden and pool were outstanding and the position of the villa was very handy for everything. We will certainly stay there again, hopefully later this year.

Tiny little ants on the kitchen floor and worktop area can be cleaned down but seem to reappear quickly. Also, a few cockroaches were spotted inside and out, probably due to the warm weather conditions and expected somewhat. There is no curtain in main bedroom bathroom. Feel a little exposed when having a shower or using a toilet, although no one can see in, but feels too open. We didn't use the spa passes as not enough time. There's nothing terrible, just some pointers.

Spacious apartment for a family of 5, also gave an extra bed but we didn't need it. Has all the appliances to help you feel at home, washer, dishwasher, TV, nintendo, etc. The pool was amazing and private, not overlooked at all. We were slightly overlooked from the patio area by the terrace on the left, but nothing too much.. The pool was cleaned every few days,, we had paid for the pool to be heated but really didn't need to! Cats everywhere, which my kids loved feeding and hanging around with. Villa is in a residential area. It was so nice and quiet, 15-20 min walk to the ocean front. If you don't like walking, the taxis are relatively cheap, 3-4 euros one way to the hustle and bustle. Everything was really good and we look forward to returning one day.

someone came round to fix something in shower while we we there but no one notified us this would be happening and someone would be coming to the villa until a man knocked on the door.

Very clean , quite place and amazing location .Staff were quick to respond to our queries. Really appreciate all the things the villa had to offer, bbq, swimming pool, top terrace.
