Brilliant location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. The hotel is tucked away down one of the little side streets but close to the hustle and bustle with restaurants, bars and shops all nearby. From check in to check out every single member of staff was friendly, charming and couldn't do enough for us. In particular a big shout out to the bar tender who made the best G&T on the planet and also the breakfast was probably one of the best we've ever had - all cooked to order with a huge selection which included home made yoghurt, breads, fruit salad and even puddings! Would come back in a heart beat to both the Wittmore and Barcelona.

The lighting was quite dim for us, but the staff provided more lighting. I agree that the dim lighting did add to the ambience of the room.

I liked the decor of the room and the layout. It was roomy and felt cozy at the same time. The bathroom was amazing! Front desk gave great food recommendations. We had forgotten some clothing at check out, but the staff kept it safe for us to pick up later. The delicious chocolates in our room were a great touch! I went to the local candy shop and bought some to share with family and friends.

There is nothing we did not like. The only minor thing that comes to mind was the offer of breakfast at 33euro per person which we felt was a little high, particularly when there are fantastic breakfast and brunch spots close by.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel nestled in the winding streets of the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona. The bedroom was small but well equipped and cleverly laid out, decorated to emphasise comfort and luxury. We particularly liked the lighting, which was soft and moody. We also appreciated the heavy glassware, fresh flowers and complimentary gin, tonic and snacks. The bed was very comfortable and house-keeping each day was excellent. There is a lovely roof top terrace, and a relaxed bar and lounge where we enjoyed a drink one evening. The staff were fantastic. Very pleasant and accommodating, they made us feel at home. We loved our stay at this hotel.

Immediately outside the hotel is a let down. Garbage bags on the corner, dog poo in the nearby alley. Also the graffiti on the wall outside the front lobby is not attractive. However, once you are in the hotel, it is delightful. Finally, I would say the wine was not on par with the restaurant food. I know they wanted to go with organic but Spain has some of the best wines in the world and I think they should skip the organic wine and go for the superb Spanish wines. All that said, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff and hotel bed were the stars. The staff could not do enough to help me. The bedroom was wonderfully quiet and you could make it completely dark. The sheets and mattress were heavenly. Go to this hotel if you need a good sleep! You would never know that you are in the Born district. The restaurant food is also worth going to this hotel, absolutely delicious!

An absolute gem! It is an oasis in the middle of busy Barcelona. Staff are phenomenal, the ambience is truly unique and I would definitely stay there again. Their breakfast is amazing and highly curated. The restaurant in the hotel is probably the best food you can find in the Gothic Quarter.

Too dark and dim. I’m the room and the whole place. Loved the pool on the roof but it was only a foot deep. Still, though, gotta like having a pool in a crowded place like the Gothic quarter.

Location is outstanding. 8-15 minute walk to the activities we wanted to do (bicycle tour and paella cooking class). Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room thoughtfully appointed and the whole place is just chill in the middle of Barcelona.

A little hard to find at first

Just the size of the room. We had to move the chair and table around to open our suitcases. Maybe instead of the small table and chair a unit to put your suitcase on and more storage would be more useful. And coffee creamers and milk in the fridge for your coffee/tea

The Wittmore is simply stunning. From the moment you enter , you are made to feel like a VIP. It is exceptional service and the bespoke hotel is beautifully curated. From the wonderful front of house staff the hotels attention to detail is superb. Afternoon cake delivered to your room , complimentary G&T’s , it’s an experience I will. Not forget.
