Nothing. I thought everything about the hotel was perfect - my partner wasn't too impressed with the pillows but I thought they were fine!

We LOVED the Hotel Torre del Mar. It's probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff without exception were polite and friendly, going out of their way to help. The decor at the hotel is very impressive and it is immaculately clean. The location on the sea front is fantastic - a bit of a walk to Ibiza town but there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, we ate in the Figueretas beach area a few times and had great food. We stayed in a junior suite which had a balcony with panoramic views, comfy beds and a great shower and complimentary drinks were delivered daily which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection and all beautifully presented. The swimming pool area is stunning. I could find no fault with the hotel and didn't want to leave. I very much hope to return and would recommend it to anyone.

The location while ideal due to being close to a central line in also in a particularly less warm area of the city. Much love for Hamburg and all its people so hopefully in years to come things will improve.

The location was the main factor for choosing this stay and actually surpassed my expectation after reading the comments on it before hand. I'd considerer it for a night stay any time. The staff were also inviting staff and supportive. I also liked the decor of the rooms, rustic but works.

As above - it would have been good to know more clearly that the spa was not included in the room price when booked through Booking.com

The staff were lovely and the pool was very nice. The spa was an extra bonus but unfortunately I hadn't realised that if you book through Booking.com then this is not included in the price of your room, so we had to pay separately an extra charge for that. The massage I booked was absolutely outstanding though - one of the best I've ever had! And the sauna / spa area was great fun, I particularly was grateful that there was a window of time for going in with children.

The staff were not polite and the security guard kept asking us what room we were in when we had told him twice already 628, he then continued to hang around our group like a bad smell always watching us and the girls, which made the group uncomfortable at one point we just said that’s enough and left for the day to another place with a pool.

There was a DJ playing by the pool area on Monday 2nd Oct, the mixing and the selection of music was terrible which was quite disappointing being our last full day at the hotel

Check out ... although wasn't able to keep room on the facilities are great and extremely comfortable..but staff didn't seem overly helpful with this side of things on the last day .. didn't seem to care if we were to lose our flight due to taxis although I know this isn't their problem a little bit of help would go a long way instead running down the street trying to flag with huge cases wasn't practical it was very stressful which ruined the overall experience .. I think a mention re taxis during check in would have helped as we've never been before I tried private companies etc etc .. so I'm my opinion going to Ibiza make sure you have your transfers pre booked we didn't have any of these problems in Escanar they were very helpful.

This hotel is just stunning, from start to finish. As you walk in the lobby smells divine, and it continues from there. We stayed in the penthouse suite and nearly cried when we had to leave! The view and terrace is incredible, the beds are big and lovely and comfy, the bespoke mini bar is fab and the sweet treats on dress down were a lovely touch. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice (and yet another stunning view), and the pool/bar/spa areas are just beautiful. We also treated ourselves to a couples massage outside while listening to the sea lapping in the background, bliss! Would recommend this also! Despite coming towards the end of the season, all the staff and housekeeping teams honestly couldn’t have done more to help and were all very friendly and approachable throughout our stay. We can’t wait to come back!
