Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNo irons in the whole place including their ironing service being broken as well. Location isn't central but a very small shuttle (6 seater) runs all day long to a train station. There are big crowds in the mornings and afternoons so sometimes you need to wait for it to make a couple of rounds before you can get a seat. This can make it challenging if you have a set itinerary and need to meet a train schedule or tour/tickets.
Amazing breakfast, rooms are spacious, the view is nice and so is the pool if you're able to use it when it's sunny. The bar/restaurant has some decent menu options and they offer room service. Walkable to a nearby grocery store. Staff are helpful and try to answer questions as best as possible. Lobby area and lounge is wonderful and allows for a bit of space if you're travelling. It would be ideal if they had outlets so you can do some calls or leisure time without disturbing people in the hotel room. Nice ambiance and decor.

CanadaAll was great.
I really enjoyed my stay at this fabulous hotel. My room was exceptional. A shout out to the staff. My check in was fantastic and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. The shuttle was excellent and a great bonus. Continue offering that service because it made a major difference.

United KingdomWe weren’t told that the pool wasn’t open and the gym was closed. Neither was the main restaurant. A little disappointing for a large 4 star hotel. No bottled water after the 1st day or kettle or similar to make a drink in the room in our 2 day stay.
The staff were ok, but not the greatest welcome from Reception. We had dinner which was ok & restaurant staff were pleasant. Nice public areas in the hotel. Some good restaurants a walk away, but a little tricky to walk to. Courtesy bus to metro was good. Plenty of free parking.

United KingdomOverall I could tell that facility is quite outdated. And cleaning status is not perfect. I had to ask to change my room because I found out weird insect in the toilet in my original room. And in the room where I moved there were many aunts and also a fly. I would not say cleaning status is bad but if you squint and look closely, you can see some dirts and insects... Reception staffs in person were nice and helpful but by phone they were not. Before arriving to hotel, there were some occasions when I had to reach out to them by phone because they never reply to my question vis Email, and the reception staffs at that time continoulsy just hung up the phone and answered heartless.

SpainIt was a shame that they were refurbishing the swimming pool but that's not the hotels fault. As a recommendation we would have liked an extra pillow in the room in case we needed it.
All staff were super polite and friendly, from reception, bar to the cleaning team. Available parking and it's outside of Seville which it's perfect if you want to stay in a peaceful place. Food was good and the bar area is fantastic to chill out, read or enjoy a glass of wine.

IrelandSadly a Hotel building past it's sell by date, very impressive style but poorly maintained as a building. Morning reception staff appears to be poorly trained and failed to understand that we wanted breakfast. We were directed to the Piano bar where there was no buffet or breakfast just toast and coffee, very annoying.
We would have liked to have breakfast but it was a secret as to where it was. The evening reception staff were very good and welcoming and the Piano bar staff offered to serve our dinner in our room which was much appreciated

SpainAll good. Maybe the floor of the room could be a little bit cleaner, as I saw some hair from the previous people, but apart from that all good.
I loved the way they were waiting for my dog. Prepared a little bag with dog toy and treat. Very nice touch. Also they have prepared water bowl and a little dog bed. Small touch but feels amazing seeing your little one playing with it after entering to the room. Amazing breakfast, friendly staff at the reception.
