Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was a little dated. It felt old style. Beautiful tiles on the walls in the rooms. When we booked our stay the room was quite expensive and for that price I would expect more modern facilities. However it was clean and served us our purpose.
Very clean and great location. Polite staff. Great view. The shower was super powerful but did leak onto the bathroom floor.

FrancePeople rushing out to put towels on sun loungers and then never using them, thus denying others who did need them from shade etc. Perhaps the hotel could have a policy that if a sun lounger is not used for more than an hour the towel gets removed allowing others to use them. Seems fair.
The hotel and staff were excellent. The food was good. Value for money.

SwedenThe pool looks to be a good size, but in July, it became filled with children and families very early in the day so if you are a swimmer who likes to do laps as we do, it was not possible. However, there was a good swimming beach at the end of the fishing harbour so we did not really need the pool.
The staff at the front desk was very helpful. They told us about restaurants and parking. You can park for free in the fisherman harbour, which is about a 5-7 minute walk away. It is after a paid parking area, which I believe had blue lines and the free parking had white lines. You can unload your items in front of the hotel. There was plenty of space for that. The hotel was well located. It was about a 10-12 minute walk from the downtown area. It was closer to a quieter beach after the fishing harbour that has a snorkel trail you can follow. That beach was about a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast was pretty good. Lots of options.

United KingdomAs I've mentioned above parking can be difficult, in the past we have parked on the fishermen's car park where they keep the nets, some years ago there was additional parking past the kitchens on what appeared to be waste land, no doubt been developed by now. I can't find something I didn't like as we have stayed here before and know what to expect and it came up to expectations
We have stayed at this Hotel many times before, my wife first stayed here when she was 7 years old, she's 66 now! The room was the one we asked for, 447 over looking the Marina, the location must be the best in Roses although Parking can be difficult. The breakfast was a little hit and miss one morning you would go down and could get a freshly cooked breakfast, but on another there was no-one doing the breakfast and I was directed to use the fried eggs and grilled bacon on the servery, which was not so hot, when I sat down with my breakfast, a waitress began cooking the breakfasts from fresh, so a bit hit and miss!

IrelandSome Reception staff could have been a bit more helpful.
The location was really central - right beside the beach and very near the centre. The breakfast was great. The staff were great at refilling items as they disappeared. Some of the Receptionists were very helpful and friendly. I was very impressed with the team cleaning the pool each day. The pool is lovely. The staff seem very hard working.
