No aircon- we knew this from the listing but maybe in future it maybe worth investing? Fans provides in room but only circulate warm air. We arrive Tuesday night and the Pool was “cleaned” on sun/Monday (we had 8nights) but only seemed to have the chlorine tablet replaced as there was still a lot of residue/scum around the side of the water. (it has been Chalima weather while here so understand that there will be more sand/dust/dirt around)

Perfect for a young couple on our first holiday together. We wanted privacy and the chance to explore the area, bars and restaurants… villa is exactly as pictured. The Rubicon shopping mall is a 5 min walk away we used the super market there daily, the harbour is also just below the shopping mall with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants, it also holds a market Wednesdays and Saturdays! Playa dorada (beach) is a 20 min walk along the front where you can also find the papagayo centre made up of bugerking, bars and restaurants and the main town of palya blanca filled with shops, bars and restaurants is about 30min walk from the villas. Villas are great to use as a base fully equipped for self catering. The pool is great for dipping in to cool of but would say they are only to cool of as slightly small. Over all great time!

It was very quiet around the apartments. Lacked an air of vibrancy.

For 2 of us, we would have preferred to have paid a little less, for something a little smaller. Nothing was offered. But we were pleased to be in our chosen area.

- it had horrible fake grass in area by the pool it did not feel hygienic, tiles would be much better - it was cleaned but it was not clean - very dated interior and deteriorating finishes, should be renovated - beds and bedsheets are worn-out and needs replacing asap - the fridge is loud - the pump in the apartment is also very loud when the water is running - bathrooms are visibly old and need thorough cleaning and renovation - no Air-conditioning - unannounced staff showing up for pool maintenance - garden lacking shrubs or flowers

- The location to puerto Rubicon marina was 3min walking - Villa has spacious feeling - Incredibly friendly people on email and in check-in office - easy check in with keybox - the kitchen was well equipped with plates, glassware and other things for cooking (we left olive oil, some seasoning, bottle of red and white wine for next guests (i hope it was not taken by cleaning staff)) - the pool is nice addition and in summer it must be lovely to refresh, in February unheated pool is an intense experience ;) - it is good for 2 people but not sure how it would be with 4 as normally it has 4 beds - villa 218 is south facing so you have sun till it goes down - comfortable sunbeds, outside dining set - built-in bbq is nice but missed bbq tools

Water from taps took a long time to draw through upstairs. Hot water was way too hot. Some parts of the villa looked a little tired. The bed was too low for me and was a little uncomfortable.

Garden didn’t get much sun. The I heated pool practically took up the garden so moving around to be in the sun was difficult for just two people

Property was a bit tired. Mattress on bed was ripped on both sides exposing the foam.

The staff responded immediately to any requests nothing was to much trouble.

Amenities could be updated to a little more modern. The double bed base was broken in our bedroom but didn't realise it was the base so spent most nights swapping the mattresses around. The pool was great to have but wasn't heated so my wife didn't use it at all. Some of the areas could do with a spruce but overall really enjoyed ourselves.

I loved the location of the property, the amenities were basic but ample for our needs. The villa was clean and the weather was great.

A little tired in appearance but very comfy and a good social space, heated pool would have been nice.

Position is great for restaurants and supermarket and marina, an easy walk along front to nice beaches and the main shopping area.

Area around the pool was quite small. Some of the beds were quite hard. One of the showers wasn’t great. The fans in the rooms weren’t great and not safe to leave on!

Location was fantastic. Self check in was easy and convenient. Great to have our own pool. Was well stocked with kitchen stuff, including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing liquid etc. It was very clean.

No aircon ceiling fans only not adequate & very noisy in the bedroom. Some kitchen units in need of refurbishment as bits were falling apart. Issue with ants in kitchen. Same as most hotels & villas lighting in the bedrooms was terrible & plugs nowhere near a mirror (always bugs me this!) no working bedside lamp either. Some steps to access apartment from outside are a little steep.

Spacious apartment in excellent location. Has all the facilities you need for self catering - washing machine, dishwasher, large well equipped kitchen, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee maker etc. outside seating area with sunloungers pool was cold but as expected for October. Good communication for access on arrival at weekend when reception is closed. Reported 2 issues both fixed very quickly. Our apartment had 2 bedrooms upstairs and a large bathroom with bath plus shower room downstairs.Safe facility in room, WiFi, english tv channels.

No airconditioning, rooms hot at night despite fans. Had to have windows open but road noisy. Especially early morning when lorries were delivering stone to the building site across the road. Property not cleaned particularly well - dust on floor, windows and mirrors dirty. Master bedroom mattress too soft and needs replacing. This was unit 18 - a 3 bed duplex.Staff were helpful with problems of broken fan and toaster, items were replaced quickly.

The villa was superb. It was very clean and had all mod cons. It was a place where we could all relax and we got great mileage out of having our own pool.

The villa is not equipped with air conditioning but does have ceiling fans. We found the rooms got quiet hot at night. Would benefit from air con.

The villas are located very close to the Marina with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants close by. The villa rooms were big and clean. The pool was a lovely size. We had one broken chair on the patio that was replaced as soon as we mentioned it, very quick service.
