The bathroom really had not been cleaned well at all. The toilet was visibly dirty, which is honestly pretty gross and the room looked pretty hastily cleaned as well.

The rooms are nice and bright, its easy to et inside with the door code, the location is pretty close to the city center and there is everything you might need, TV, microwave, fridge, a small stove, table and chairs, a mirror.

if you need to come by car, you will have to pay a lot, it is not possible to open the windows and the air-conditioning was not working so efficiently, it was hard to communicate about the invoice even I kindly asked for it from the very beginning

the apartment was clean, well-equipped and very calm, the beds were comfortable, the internet was working quickly, the access was smooth and very flexible, location is good - close to centre and transportation options

Overall cleaniness of washroom, it left something to be desired.

A completely overheated room without the possibility of temperature regulation (the windows could not be opened). The toilet smells of cigarettes. Retro image of bathroom and toilet. Only one elevator was working.

The room was too hot - mainly because we couldn't turn off the bathroom radiator - our friends in other rooms had the same issue. It was expensive but I think that was due to accommodation being at a premium during the Ironman weekend.

We visited Lahti for the Ironman 70.3 triathlon. It was a busy weekend and accommodation was hard to come by. The Forenom is in a great location in the main market square. Some aspects of the building are a bit 'tired' and it's certainly not a luxury property but it is very clean, practical and functional. Good location for the triathlon too - the harbour area is a 6 minute scooter ride or 20 minute walk. We had a fridge, microwave and kettle which is enough for very basic self catering. There is an excellent supermarket next door to the building. Parking is downstairs and costs 12 Euro for 24 hours. Definitely recommend scooters for getting around the town - cheap and fast. Loved the 50m outdoor swimming pool which is 1.5km away from the hotel. Also did paddleboarding in the lake which was fantastic too.

We went outside around 10pm. My friend who is a girl,had to go back to get her phone because she forgot it. My friend had an encounter during the night of our stay with some drunk guys who followed her when she was going to our room. She was crying, we had to go back to our room and didnt have the chance to go out again because we thought of our safety.

Beds are very small singles, no chairs or table in room, picture of room used to advertise was not representative of the room. Facilities to was up extremely basic. Unable to adjust heating meaning room was to warm. Air-conditioning too noise to be used to cool room.

Property had air con that only blew hot air and windows were sealed shut. No ventilation in rooms. Stifling hot and we could not stay the last night. Multiple complaints to management but no compensation. Property is not habitable. Worse stay in Finland

I'm not sure if the AC worked properly and found no way to alter it. At first the room door wouldn't lock, had to try the handle to make it work.

Room had the barebones necessities, a bed, fridge, bathroom with hairdryer and towels. Some extra things like scissors, kettle and iron too. It had two large mirrors which was nice.

There is no reception in the Hotel. Approaching the Hotel, you find yourself in front of a closed door, on which the support phone number is written. They were supposed to send you a code, but you didn't receive it. The support phone says that all operators are busy for two hours. As a result, you despair and book a room in another hotel. But the nightmare doesn't end. The Hotel keeps bombarding you with meaningless auto-generated messages. You can't get to a real manager for days. In the end, they tell you that everything went well on their part, and they also try to fine you for not arriving at the Hotel. Only the intervention of booking.com prevents this. It all happened with us in reality. And it was very impressive. But if you just want to have a quiet night and not interested in strong emotions, maybe it worth to find another place to stay.

The air vents were very dirty. The tiles between the mirror and the bathroom sink were quite stained with somthing that I think dripped from behind the mirrow.
