Furniture and fittings could do with updating along with bathrooms. Lighting in bedroom not great no reading light They need to inform you before booking that you have to .pick up keys from West Side Hotel

Functional but basic accommodation. Comfortable room. OK breakfast, great coffee. Remember you need to pick up keys from.west side hotel

The general manager is an angry man, who doesn’t understand the basic rules of hospitality. I have to pick up my keys 10kms away from the actual place. And he was just saying that I was stupid. Definitely the worst experience I have. I badly recommend.

The night receptionist try to do her best. It was a young lady, who do what she can do to make my stay a bit better. Lovely person!

So apparently the key box for the building is broken, but this information is only shared after you pay for the room. The problem is that - you have to pick up your key from over 5km away from the hotel. It is unacceptable, and I will be contacting booking.com for this. Is the guesthouse willing to reimburse the visitors for travel expenses from needing to find ways how to pick up this key, since they decide not to inform about this in advance?

The beds were actually more comfortable than they look like.

The room is very hot and not have proper ventilation. They don't provide towel for shower and not even a bottle of water.

The keys had to be picked up on the other part of the city (approximately 6km from facility), there were not enough kitchen ware, everything was not maintained in a good condition.

I had to collect the key from the other side of the town at West Side Hotel (distance 5.4 km by the car one way) as there was no reception and I was told that the key box was broken. In the past here was at least reception and Lidl style simple breakfast for the same price. The room was so cold that I had to sleep my thermal underwear on although an extra radiator was on the whole night. The temperature outside was -10 degrees. No pictures of the rooms are shown on the website probably as the rooms are so dated looking. The furniture and appliances were disfunctional and for example some lights were broken. This building should be demolished!

Check in was arranged in a hotel 6 km away from the b&b location and it was mentioned only in the confirmation that arrived much later. If I had known this I wouldn't have chosen the place for my stay. I traveled by train, walked 1.5 km to the Guesthouse only to be aware of the fact that I wouldn't be able to receive any key for my room there but had to go by buses the 6 km to receive it. Thus I missed the programme I was scheduled to do the same evening. There was also no chance to have any refund if you would change your mind.

The fact that the check-in place is 5 km far from the actual hotel is not well warned at all. Then, in the building where we slept the rooms weren't bad but the shower was in disgusting conditions. In general, we found it sloppy. Finally, in one of the nights, one guest was behaving very violently, punching the walls and striking doors around our corridor while screaming constantly. The situation lasted for, at least, 1 hour and no security or staff was in the hotel. This made us feel quite unsecure there.

The breakfast is good.

Bedding was clean, but some of the mattresses were not in a good state, which did not give us confidence that they would be clean and infestation free. Room was not very well aired. Not very many electrical sockets in the room with 4 beds. Tiling in shower was cracked and not very clean. Too far from the ferry terminal to get a reliably get buses for an early Saturday morning ferry so had to get a taxi (but it was only 20 euros so not too bad).

The check-in took place in a different hotel extremely far away from the hotel and from Turku so had to travel through whole turku first to get key then to the hotel. It was like traveling back to 70's or maybe 60's

Traffic on road outside was very noisy.
