The sauna and swimming pool was under construction and the changing rooms were too small for all the users. However it was under construction and most likely in better use after the construction.

The hotel is not in city center. but it's easy to take tram 2, 4 or 10 which located around 500m from hotel. it takes around 10 minutes to the city center. The receptionist of night shift is not very customer-friendly. He gave me tiny room and very far from the lift, eventhough on that day hotel was not over-booked. I had to ask to change to another room next day. On the day I left, I had to leave hotel really early, I asked for take-away breakfast, but they didn't prepare anything. When I arrived at the reception, he told me that I could prepare take-away breakfast myself, but there was nearly nothing to take at the Buffet because they were still preparing to set up breakfast, I had to pick 2 pieces of bread and cookies myself and ran quickly to the taxi. It's not the service we expected to receive. Or is that the way they do in Finland? I have been travelling around Asia and Europe, but a small tiny service for breakfast that we couldn't have, and we paid for it, they cannot even offer. I will probably not book at this hotel again.

In the wardrobe were a minibar and a safe located, so there was no way to conveniently place our outer clothing. It was very unexpectedly. In addition, there was no kettle or coffee machine in the room, which is unusual for Finland.

The bottom of the windows in the restaurant needs to be cleaned as they were really dirty when we sat down to eat.

A lot of choices for the breakfast, but it felt like each choice was a bad one. Many low quality options. Seems to be a trend at Scandic in general. Also due to so many people all at once it was difficult to find a spot to even eat the breakfast.

The building is large and feels a bit dated in the common areas. A renovation might be a good idea.

It is well located in relation to the city centre. I could walk to the shops easily or I could get numerous buses and trams about 5 minutes walk away. There are some good restaurants in the Toolo neighbourhood too which I like to eat at. The breakfast was included and there was a good assortment of items to choose from. The room was spacious, modern and I had a view of Hesperian Park from my room.

Hotel is not the newest one so it has some mileage behind. Don't get me wrong, it's not too old but I like to compare to the other hotels I have stayed in last couple years in Helsinki.

The swimming pool was closed due to maintenance during my stay. Breakfast menu was the same which became monotonous as I stayed for 7 days

The hotel was centrally located with loads of restaurants, super markets etc. in the vicinity. The receptionist was very efficient and explained nearby places in a map. I asked for a room with a better view and the same was provided from next day. The Sauna was pretty relaxing

The temperature in the meeting rooms was far, far too warm. By Tuesday, several of us were experiencing nose bleeds from the combination of heat and dryness. It will take a few days, I think to recover. I also would have liked to make use of the swimming pol before breakfast but it was only open after working hours. Because it was a conference, we were too tired by then. Also, I was rather surprised that ice buckets and coffee cups were left to accumulate by the room cleaning staff.

Except for the burger the first night which was “okay”, everything else was beautifully presented and delicious! The conference catering was sublime and the staff was top notch & quick to respond to requests. I had no problem getting a bucket of ice each day to mitigate the dry heat in my room. (Despite being moved to a much cooler room after the first night.) The front desk staff were also very responsive and helpful.

No logistics for going to the sauna (bathrobe etc) A lot of road constructions in front of the hotel, but seemed to be in all city center area. I would have wished the sauna to be open a bit later, dough 7-22 is already good.

The breakfast options were good and diverse (including healthy shoots, natural aromated water, smoothies etc). Bed was comfortable, no noises. 15 min walking from the center.

We lacked heater in the bathroom, and our car did not fit (because of the roof rack) to the hotel garage (but the staff were very helpful to find the parking place nearby (about 50€/day))

Room was really big, comfy beds and comfortable furniture arrangement. Helpful and friendly staff. Tasty breakfast , plenty of food choices. Even though we travelled by car, we decided to reach city center on foot/by tram - though the hotel is quite far from center, it took us 15-20minutes to center, as public transport near hotel is really easy accessible.

Fourth time I have stayed here. The staff are always very friendly, the rooms are well heated and very clean and the location is just a ten minute walk to the city centre.
