More vegetarian options for breakfast

Room was very nice and tidy, beautiful view and good location. Basic good breakfast, not many vegetarian options though

I would say that the hotel exterior needs a facelift, it looks dated, and cold. Also the carpeting in the corridors appears to be from the 1980s, and could do with replacing. Price point was a little high for the off-season.

The location was excellent. Easy walking distance of the train station. The setting is spectacular, I found the room spacious, and the staff were very helpful, and went the extra mile to help me out.

1- Just opened the bathrooom door and our first deception.. the botton of the toilet was disgusting dirty.... people forget to brush down there... i have a picture so you try to fix this... the tiles of the bathroom don t see a real clean for a long time... Mold .... a shame for the hotel... 2-Breakfast was very poor.. few fruits.. not even bananas , that are so cheap... just a couple of apples, small old pears.. rotten plums and the melon was in pieces, not even slices.. just some pieces.. no cake ... on sunday you offered some old slices of cake,... already hard.. another shame for the hotel.. it really makes no sense how poor was the breakfast you offered....

The hotel is located within walking distance of the railway station and the city center. The room was very spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful view over the lake. The bathroom was properly renovated. Breakfast was good. The ladies at the front desk were very nice to me. I would definitely stay here again!

This is an old hotel with unreasonably high price. Despite its being called a "Spa hotel", you have to pay extra 10 euro per person to have access to the spa. Also, there are no bathrobes and slippers, so you have to pay extra money for this too. The pool is quite small and very old. The rooms are renovated, however, the bathroom is very small and old.

The hotel is located on an island surrounded by forest. there is a walking path nearby. We had a nice view from our room and a balcony. There is a nice restaurant on the first floor. In general, the location is super nice, it is just a two-minute walk to the railway station.

Big room with balcony and great lake view. Good breakfast. The location is super... on an island in the city centre :) ... 200m to the market square. Friendly positive staff at the front desk and restaurant! Best place to stay in Savonlinna!

The only complaint is about the shower. Too little water and when I made the water a bit cooler for comfort the the amount of water decreased even more. This made the showering difficult.

- The breakfast was very modest (we even skipped going to the breakfast on our 2nd day of stay :) - In general the hotel brings 70s vibes as it was built in those times. Some renovation would needed as many things looks like hasn't been changed for years. - The toilet door would need some maintenance - The kitchenette was very tiny (but it was Ok for us as we were aware of it already) - The view from the Apartment is to the parking place (we also were aware of it, so no problem at all)

- We stayed in the Apartment with a small pet for 2 nights. The Apartment room was spacious (more than it looks in the photos), with a separate entrance which was perfect when you travel with a dog. - The bed was very comfortable and big. - The hotel is located just a step away from the nature, you can go and enjoy the walks around 2-3km island. - The staff was very helpful and friendly! They gave us a treat for our dog, it was very nice of them. Thank you! :)
