Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe found the pillows uncomfortable, very light and lumpy, but that was a fairly minor issue. We were also surprised that there seemed to be no housekeeping. We stayed for five nights and during that time, there were no fresh towels, linen, bins emptied etc. However, to be fair, when we asked at reception for more toilet paper in the room, this was provided and I am sure that we could have requested fresh towels etc., and this would have been provided, however it was not a routine process.
The aparthotel was easy to find and was well located, very close to the bus stops that we needed. The room was very clean and had everything that we needed. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, they also spoke English. It was really useful to have the little kitchenette area, which had a two-ring hob, fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker, cutlery and crockery. We had a good stay. The bed was large and the mattress was comfortable.

United States of Americaat their page, the room i booked included iron and hairdryer which were missing from the room. we had to ask for them but we never got the hairdryer even though we asked twice. They only give you 2 big towels and 2 small ones, if you need extra u pay. And the sheets dont get changed.
i like the location very close to bus stations, and the room was nice looking. i also like the kitchen had all the necessities in there.

LithuaniaThe breakfast actually was poor. To be honest I have visited more than 30 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the breakfast here was one of the poorest. The stuff in the breakfast bar was very nice, but just variety of food wasn’t, there was no vegetables at all, fruits always were stale and so on. Also, water passes through shower cubicle walls and there wasn’t enough showers gel/shampoo in the room. Also the rooms are without room service, if You want that you have to pay extra so it was hard to understand how this place got 3 hotel stars without this kind of service included in the price of the stay. Overall the place is OK, but next time I would choose other.
A comfortable bed and plenty of pillows made it possible to enjoy a really good night's sleep. There was useful stuff in the kitchen, enough cutlery, cups, frying pan, pots, fridge, electric stove. Only the coffee machine didn’t worked. But overall it was good.

CyprusThe lighting was a bit dark. Also, in the shower there is no curtain, so the floor is always wet. That’s why it’s rather uncomfortable that cleaning isn’t very often, only once every 8 days. And there’s not enough towels.
The apartment was spacious (but not very large). It was wonderful to have a kitchen, although there was no kettle.

GermanyIf you plan to have a shower, just don’t. The water temperature keep changing all the time from burning hot to freezing cold. The shampoo container was empty. You have to clean the place and remove the rubbish. The staff was not very helpful. Also, the public transport in the area is not good at all.
It is good that you have a kitchen and is good for the price!

FranceLocation: 40 min by metro from the main attractions because the metro station is also 10-15 min walk away. Try to check the bus, it may be more convenient. The reception is not always responsive to requests. We had no shower gel and it wasn’t provided upon double request.
The studio was clean, big and quiet, didn’t hear any noise from the street. The air conditioning worked well, although was centrally regulated. Kitchen was well equipped, comfortable mattresses, pillows, new and functional shower. Shops and cheap cafes nearby.

CanadaRooms only get serviced on stays of 8 nights or more!!! You're given 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel (per person, maybe) and they're thin and rough. Towel warmer did not work. Shower bar was not sturdy. Bathroom sink was slow to drain. Shower has half a door so water will get everywhere. There was no safe in the room.
Location was fine; quiet area, lots of restaurants nearby, two metro stations within 5-10 minute walk.

IndiaOn first night one of the late night staff members seemed to dodge queries regarding AC not working in the room. At first, they said they will look into it asap, then when asked about it after few hours, the same staff member seemed to act like they didn't know what I was talking about. Probably the staff member was new or only for night duty as didn't see them much in the morning. In the morning, when asked about the issue to the morning staff member, they looked into and fixed the issue asap.
Room was clean, staff was nice, and location is good!

BrazilThe hotel doesn’t offer typical hotel service: room cleaning. You have to clean your room, the bed is not made, the towels are not changed, you have to ask for toilet paper…it’s actually an Airbnb with breakfast. The shower drain was clogged, so the bathroom was sunk. And the shower is only one door sided, so it’s half opened when you shower
The staff was helpfull.

NetherlandsOur door didn't lock properly, we had a different door then the rest of the hallway. Our safe in the closet also didn't open, and when I called the communication/translation was a bit hard. Then the person who was able to fix it couldn't come until a day after.
I liked the 24/h service and the beds were comfortable. big bathroom, enough towels to use. Staff was friendly and the stay was calm and nice in general.

United KingdomIt was further from the city centre than expected so travel time on the metro took out a large part of our day. Also the metro trains were extremely crowded and cramped. The old Clichy hotel was closer to the centre. One Of the reception staff was not so good with the English language and he seemed rather unwilling to assist us, but all the others were efficient and helpful.
Staff always available and most were very responsive. On the whole their English skills were good. There was an excellent seafood restaurant just across the road called Marina.

JordanIt needs to be a bit cleaner, the doors on the way to the elevator need paint. Towels need to be replaced, it has been used for years & the quality became so bad. Quality of shampoo is really bad, no shampoo can be used for hands, body shower gel & hair at the same time. TV is all in French, we need some channels in Englich, like news, sports & movies Thank you
