Great location next to the Opera, old Palace hotel that has kept an old fashioned charm, nice architecture. Rooms are very big, the bar is very cosy, the restaurant looks nice although I did not eat there. Staff at the reception is very nice and helpful.

you really need need to renovate the rooms, very shoddy, dirty chairs in the room, the card keys weren't functioning well and i am sure that the rooms can be easily broken into by someone who knows how. It is basically overpriced - unless you properly renovate the rooms. For the price - the breakfast could be better too.

Despite the cleanliness and maintenance, it's old. People expecting contemporary standards beware.

My primary concern is always the bed. It was very comfortable and large. The fifth floor room was lovely and comfortable. Personnel was very friendly and accommodating. Mostly, it's the experience of stepping back into history that I appreciated. It's a very elegant art deco building with historical furnishings.

The water reservoir for the toilet takes a long time to fill up again after flushing, not practical if more than one person in the room.

The furnishings and fixtures are showing their age: faded and worn carpets, taps losing their chrome, window ledges in desperate need of paint. A general aura of faded luxury, the place is in need of some tlc to bring it back to its former glory.

Lovely location in the centre of Vichy, just a brief stroll away from the park and the thermal springs. The building itself is a lovely 1900 building, kept in the original style. Staff were very helpful, and the room was large and comfortable.

Central location, on street parking, close to superb bars and restaurants. Swimming pool great asset on sunny afternoon. Cosy bar for pre dinner drink, friendly and efficient bar person.

A lovely old fashioned hotel in the centre of Vichy. The rooms were very big and comfortable. The air conditioning worked better in one of our joining rooms than the other though! Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy outside of the hotel.

The hotel is dated and needs some renovation, everything is functional but barely. Our shower sprayed the entire bathroom, the temperature and water flow were difficult to control. Some rooms were lacking air conditioning which was a problem during the heat wave this summer. We were lucky they could find us other rooms with proper air conditioning. Still a great experience and we would stay there again, mainly because of the friendly service, excellent location and pool.

Authentic and stylish hotel with decoration from the golden age of Vichy. Very friendly personnel, always ready to serve us and solve any issues. The swimming pool is a great bonus in the heat of summer, and the bar offers a great variety of drinks. The location is simply optimal, right in front of the Opera and Palais de Congres.

It's the last original Hotel in Vichy from the Grand Époque that has not been transformed into appartments. You go back into time. The Art deco details are everywhere, even in the shower. The personnel are very helpful. Don't expect a design hôtel that looks like any design hôtel. This is a lovely hotel and a trip in the past. You really feel the atmosphere of Vichy and what it was all about.
