Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

It was perfect for us and our 2 cats, as small but confortable room, with little kitchenette and spacious shower-room. Basic decoration but exactly what we needed for one night. 10min walk from center, with a big parking lot opposite and a supermarket next door.

No cons, it had everything I needed and I was pleasantly surprised
Great Location and the staff were great, multilingual too. Parking is secure code access entry. Perfect place to store my motorcycle as I tour France. Sorry to the Front desk staff, I arrived dripping wet, hope I didn't make a mess.

Parking in property is not free. You only find out afterwards. But plenty free parking outside on the street.
Nice and clean Appartment with everything you need in kitchen. The location is great, nice and quiet area, only a few minutes walk to the centre.

I stayed alone and it was perfect. With two people it might already be a bit small if you want to stay for a longer period.
The appartment hotel is perfectly located near the city center and the University (including University hospital across the river). The room itself is small, but has a large bathroom and a little kitchen area. All very convenient and clean. A supermarket is right next to the hotel.

The room was so small that I didn’t have a space to open up my luggage. Silverfish lived in the walls.
It’s location was ideal, proximity to city center, the tram lines, and the grocery store was amazing.

When we arrived that car park was full and we had to pay to park on the road, however we did manage to park in the road next to the hotel.
Had all the facilities we needed and was clean and comfortable. About 20-25 mins walk to chateau etc. Right next to a super u. We did have to leave €250 deposit on a debit/credit card which I didn’t like, but in fairness, it was credited back to my card next day as promised.

The rooms did have a fan but were extremely warm in the hot weather. Opening windows helped at night but as the room opened onto the rear of the adjoining SuperU their security light shone on and off throughout the night, plus their air conditioning fans were noisy. Obviously other rooms on the other side of the property would not have that issue.
Location was very good for access to the town centre and Chateaux. It has good covered and secure inside parking. The reception staff were very helpful and available 24/7

Very hot! No toaster! Was told I could use their car park and en route am told it was full, on my second day it looked empty?

THE FACILITY IS NOT THAT CLOSE TO THE CASTLE OF ANGERS.
DURING THE UNIVERSITY SUMMER VACATIONS, THERE IS PLENTY OF PARKING SPACE OUTSIDE OF THE HOTEL. THERE IS A SUPER MARKET JUST NEXT TO IT.

The price of breakfasts is far too expensive, but the room has its own kitchenette, so we brought our own food for breakfast. Outside our window was a huge air-conditioning unit for the supermarket in the centre area and it made an awful whine and high pitched wail. We have stayed here before, but on the 4th floor and the noise wasn't bad. This time we were on the 2nd floor and it was really bad. If booking here aim to stay on floors on or above level 4.
My room was ready at 15h00 and was modern and clean. The new tram system has a stop at the end of the road and is wonderful. We visited the city on all 3 tram lines and were safe returning after dark. The bedding and towels are white and spotlessly clean.
