Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Small room , very plain , no pictures. Only 1 bedside light switch . Bedside lights far too high and too bright.Bedside table had the side edging completely missing .The kitchen cupboard was very high , only two mismatched wine glasses no water tumblers , no toothbrush holders or glasses in bathroom / No view except of the doctors surgery and bungalows across the street.
It was acceptable for a couple of nights . Clean and tidy .The pool looked inviting and the downstairs was pleasantand open aspect.

I would have rated this hotel higher, unfortunately there was a group of noisy guests on the floor above, I suspect it was a hen party because I only heard female voices. The noise went on all night and in the early hours I heard the window open and someone vomiting. This could have been a one off but with a long journey ahead our second night was awful after an excellent first night sleep.
Very good standard hotel in the suburbs of Carcassonne. 30 minute walk into town and 45 minutes to the old town. Huge gated parking, great security. Staff were polite and easy to communicate with. Our room was a good size with a kitchenette, everything was perfect.

A bit too far away from the castle to walk there with our schedule.
Late check in option and luggage storage were great! We found a very nice Italian restaurant not too far away.

Hard mattress, very soft pillow. Carpet (I really don’t like it) They did not clean the room any day

WiFi signal a bit slow.
Have been in this hotel couple of times. Good location in quiet place. Room equipped with kitchen. Private parking space with fance, gate and cameras. Ideally for travellers to stop overnight.

A little way from the castle and not many shops/restaurants around.
Having a fridge and cooking facilities was great. Room had plenty of space and was clean. Plenty of free parking available.

The entrance of the hotel was gated, so any time you had to type in codes to get in to the hotel. Bit of a nuisance, but got used to it quite fast.
Good size, rather basic hotel room. Bed was comfortable. Big plus was the swimming pool, which I used everyday. Hotel is a good 15 minutes walk from Carcassonne train station, and is situated in a quiet residential area.

Excellent value for money as a pit-stop for us on a road trip through. Very helpful and efficient staff. Great quality and extensive range of breakfast, nice amenities, not far from the castle.

Room facilities need renovation. The hair dryer is missing in the room. if you need it, you have to ask at the reception🤨
It's easy to find location, although a bit far from the city center. Good value for money, free parking on site, swimming pool, and reasonable price for bed and breakfast.

Staff were friendly, however would be great if they know a bit about local attractions displayed in the hotel and also hotel facilities ( Temp of pool, if the kitchen tap water is drinking water) as when these questions were asked we were told they do not know and no attempt was made to find the answers

The room was smaller than we expected but was ok we only really slept there.
The property was newish and very modern. It was a bit of a walk from the centre or train station. The staff were very friendly and gave us lots of information we asked about gave us a map and showed us where to go.

Why does the pool close at 8pm ( because that’s when the staff go home - they are not lifeguards anyway , it was a very hot day )?
