Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The room was a bit smaller than I wanted, especially the bath room. Also, for my liking, it would be nicer to place like a rack of portable shelves on wheels (for example) under the tiny sink. The sink was literally in the bedroom with one small shelf above it. I saw that in in our hotel in Rome, and the rack goes under the sink and you have all the extra shelves to place your stuff.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for tourists because is close to the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero and the Metros for easy access to the city. Also the hotel is conveniently located next to mini markets, restaurants, laundromat, pharmacies. Great location

The water in the shower was just hot and the water didn't drain very well (I did tell the reception). Also it would be better to have just a shower, not a shower in a bath.
The staff was super friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The bedroom was quiet. The location was great.

Unfortunately the door lock broke. But the staff was quick to help and when it was not fixable, they quickly rebooked me for the night in their sister hotel.
The room was booked last minute, but I could not be more impressed with this warm and inviting staff. The actual room was small, but I was traveling alone. Location , cleanliness were much better than other more expenses hotels.

Nothing - for the price, in Paris, it was exceptional!
A lovely little hotel with a great position. I was there for work and it is an easy 20 minute walk to the OECD and other international organisations, as well as to the Tour Eiffel if you are on holiday. My single room was on the top floor so even being next to the lift and overlooking the street it was completely silent. The bed was comfortable, the hot water pressure was lovely and the staff were very friendly. All round a great find!

The hotel is very close to the Eiffel Tower and metro stations. There are quite a number of restaurants, cafes and bakeries around. The host is nice and professional, knowing the need of customers very well. The room is clean and cosy. Two adjacent rooms behind a single room is suitable for our family of four.

the bathroom silicone was full of mould also the staff could not advise on where we could park. we asked 2 receptionists and their reply was "i am not really sure, you need to check". i believe this is basic info that should be offered to guests.

The bed was two beds joined together, so this was not very comfortable, otherwise the stay was pretty good.
The staff was amazing and very helpful, and the location was really good.

There was only one light source in the room, a lamp would have been nice for the evenings when you dont want as much light.
Great location, staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Room was comfortable and had a lovely big bathroom for getting ready in. Loved the overall style and vibe of the hotel.

I just would prefer a bigger and brighter room? But it is Paris, so I guess....
Well the location was pretty good I'd say, very near Eiffel Tower. The staffs were very friendly despite my inability to speak French LOL. It's nice having some snacks served after 8pm. also there was a rly good macaron shop next to this hotel EVERYONE PLS GO TRY!
