The check in process could be improved as no-one is there when you arrive and we hadn’t received any instructions. We also struggled to get into the property. When you arrive you need to phone the hosts and they tell you how to get in (it’s around the back) and where your room is.

Lovely decor and garden with access to a small kitchen. Good on-site parking and helpful staff.

It was a bit confusing on arrival as there was no one there to meet us and so we were directed to our rooms over the phone, with me speaking broken French and the owner not speaking any English. Although there was a kettle in the room and some sachets of coffee there weren't any mugs or milk. Although my parents and husband found the beds comfortable, I suffer with fibromyalgia and so the mattress was too hard for me.

Beautiful house full of amazing antiques and collectibles. Each room had a theme and was furnished accordingly. Someone with a very good eye to detail had chosen everything. Beatrice who looks after guests was lovely.

The back door of the room (facing the garden) had a broken lock and could not be locked. Even though we were confident of the tranquility of the area, this worried us a little as anyone would be able to enter. They do not accept credit cards.

Perfectly renovated and furnished with taste and attention to detail. The tree room is delightful. The reception person is very kind.

We had evening meal two nights which were beautifully done but with some unusual ingredients which personally we don't eat. Would be good idea to give guests who are eating a chance to choose from 2 options.

What a fantastic hotel. Exceptional property with beautiful garden . Best room we have ever had with every room having a different style beautifully decorated with quirky touches. Lovely hostess very attentive.

The tree house is fun for kids. It is surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Kids could use a big trampoline in the garden too. The breakfast was nice.

perhaps the lack of a/c which during hot nights becomes a problem. we had a very hot night and was a difficult sleep until it started to rain and cooled off. but could be it was just once, perhaps it is not needed the entire year.

A real find! A beautifully renovated home in a lovely sleepy French village. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Our hosts were lovely and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. There is a large garden to enjoy. Highly recommend dinner, and we really enjoyed the company of the other guests. Thank you!

Everything was fine, no things to dislike!

Excellent location, with a very friendly host. My french was limited but we communicated fine in a mix of english and french no problem! Optionally there is a dinner which we took and enjoyed both very much, with a nice French breakfest in the morning as well. We slept in the room with the horse theme, very nice attention to detail of the interior, clean, nice shower, good bed! Truly recommended!

Would have been nice to have tea and coffee making in the room but the host did make a coffee for me. The breakfast was a little lacking, coffee and juice with mainly bread and jam.

A beautifully presented home with interesting furniture and items in the room. Very friendly and helpful lady host. There is a small village high street a short walk away with café etc. I didn't stop there though.

Véronique is very helpful and patient. Table d'hôte excellent (veggie for me). Lovely garden for lounging. Large room, comfortable bed. Quiet village. Garage for bikes. Great place to relax.
