This was a special place and we hope to come back. The staff was amazing, the room was beautiful and our dinner at the restaurant was one we will never forget. The breakfast in the dacha was also a treat.

It was a bit remote - a car is a good idea.

I didn't realize what we were getting when we booked this hotel. It is a small castle in beautiful surroundings. The service was exceptional (decent english). The breakfast was exceptional. The restaurant was an entirely new experience for us - plan to stay 2 hrs - I won't spoil the surprise but it was worth it.

The only mildly thing was having to walk through the basements so far to dinner venue during the rain but then again, it was interesting!

This magnificent castle is secluded in the trees and is a charming quiet and magical retreat.

Breakfast location was good and selection was interesting. The location of the Chateau was idyllic. The service throughout was excellent. Will definitely try to return.

Hotel website has this as a spa hotel with two restaurants - The Restaurant and Cassals. However the spa is in the spa village below and not the hotel and the same applies for Cassals - both are a five minute or so walk down steps from the Castle and not part of the actual hotel itself, which is not obvious from the website when booking. We ate in Cassals (which was very good) but decided not to use the spa facilities

Enjoyed a relaxing few days at the hotel. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Room was very good and clean and overall setting lovely. Good swimming pool and location was good for walking. Hotel restaurant was superb - had a great meal there. A dining experience!

The tasting menu in the main restaurant, though delicious and delightfully presented, did not suit everyone in our small party and was rather expensive.

Character of the hotel and its grounds, the swimming pools, room comfort, excellent breakfasts, friendly and efficient staff, alternative restaurant possibility in Cafe Casals.

They deserve their 5 stars and membership in Relais and Chateaux. The natural setting is stunning and the hotel has countless cozy nooks, a superb restaurant, extremely comfortable rooms, and best of all, a fine staff that understands how to make their guests feel coddled and welcome.

Staff did not give good/much information in the hotel or surroundings. They failed to let us know about the breakfast buffet before we loaded up on bread as we were hungry. The staff also didn’t seem to know that there is a path 800 meters long to the next town - she told us it was 17k and took an hour, which made no sense. We were also disappointed to learn that there was no way to access the hot springs while we were there.

Beautiful chateau in a beautiful location. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved the landscaping and the rooms were great (we were in the “cottages”.

I don't quite understand why they charge extra fees for small dogs, especially when the room costs a lot. The comfort is worth the price however they could welcome a small dog without any extra charge ...

Wifi is not up to standards. Probably due to the old large walls of this castle.

Wonderful place, out of tales. Beautiful view of mountains. Amazing restaurant and lovely personnel. Everything is just perfect. Our room was larger than our apartment :) and the most interesting a bathtub for 2 ;-)
