Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The kitchen corner could be a little bigger but it contains everything necessary. If someone would like to eat prepared meals at a table it is difficult to find a place for 4 persons.
Flat relatively small but very clean, quiet and located very close to the centre. Ideal for one or two nights to see the city.

Very tight lanes and spaces in the parking lot. We drove a wagon and it was soooo difficult to get in and out. Also Difficult to find the entrance by google map. The elevator that goes down to the parking lot didn’t work either. Rooms are old but clean. Bath room is renovated.
Great location. Right in the center of the city. We walk around the town in 1 day and it was beautiful. Nice and friendly staff. Great price.

We did not notice in the booking that there was no room service included. That would not be a problem for one or two days, but more than that was not ideal. We missed having coffee/tea in the room, as the lobby did not have milk or cream available.
Great location, the room was on the courtyard and very quiet, room size was great for being the city center.

The lamp had some dust on it ("dinning room") The garage is far insufficient. Some parkingslots available but a significant number already booked (restaurants, companies, etc). Access to 2nd floor not manageable with a new SUV car as ours - too narrow. Citadines should have more parkingslots in -1. The breakfast was ok but should have also bacon and freight eggs

The bed mattress and pillows were a bit too soft for my taste, but that is really personal preference, I guess.

The lift from the parking wasn’t working but that was because it was under maintenance during the dates of our stay. A little strange that maintenance works are carried out during the Easter period when there are likely to be more guests.
Location was perfect, staff were very friendly and polite. The studio was spacious and functional and, eventhough it was overlooking the street, we were not bothered by noise. Breakfast was very good. We really appreciated this place.

Tv channels are terrible, cannot connect Netflix or other streaming services. Breakfast not included, no included cleaning service.

Some staff are not welcoming the guests even if you say Hi. Complicated heating system. Kitchen amenities can be improved. Parking is also complicated ..not only for us... I could see many of the guests asking for help.
Great location, though it is in very central but it really quite and calm. And comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. Comfortable beds and clean kitchen. Everything reachable

very old & run down. needs a good paint inside the rooms, stairs. Carpark is very difficult to access. Clearer instructions are required to access apartment/hotel as we were lost for two hours trying to get into the restroom area as it wouldnt work on the car navigator

Could get extremely busy during the peak travel periods, with longer wait times to check in and stow luggage.
Very central location in the Strasbourg old town, with walking distance to all major areas of interests. Very great location to explore the Christmas Markets in the winter, and also very close to both the main train station and the city tram line by foot.
