The historical interest of the town, the location of the hotel in the heart of the town was ideal. The kindness of the owner/staff who was very helpful on several occasions.

one member of staff was gruff, unwelcoming and terse with his colleagues as well as us. A shame as it cast a shadow over our experience - everyone else was lovely

It is very noisy location. At night we used earplugs to sleep with people making noise at the street until 2 o’clock, en at 5 o clock in the morning big noises from the garbage truck or the glass collection drunk or the delivery of goods cars. If you are a large size person it will be a challenge to walk up the narrow stairs or walking on the corridor.

The people are friendly, the food was very good as well as the breakfast ( extra fee) and the room was clean .

Room was in attic so very warm and if windows were open there was a lot of noise from band in nearby bar, bottles being collected early in the morning etc

Stairs quite difficult if you have any leg problems and you have to go into another building for breakfast. And no parking

I loved the room although the steps up to it were a little difficult. Once inside the view from the terrace was fantastic. The breakfast was exceptional and excellent value for money. Staff were lovely- very pleasant and helpful.

Nothing special.

The breakfast we excellent, try the apple juice (Normandie!). The staff was helpfull to advise us to bring the luggage to the hotel. Honfleur is very crowdy in WE and we finally brought the essential minimum luggage to the hotel". We parked about 1km from the hotel.

There is no. parking onsite but public parking is available approx 150m away. The staircase is extremely steep but ok if you are mobile

Superb location in the heart of the town. Rather noisy with windows open but the double glazing effectively dealt with the noise. Excellent breakfast served efficiently by friendly staff. The hotel's gastronomic restaurant directly opposite was very good

the only small downside was the noise of the 4am bottle collecting truck which was right outside the window

The downside to this room was that it was 3 flights of very narrow stairs, without a lift so it was difficult and laborious to carry 25kg's of luggage up to the room. People who would struggle to lift and carry luggage would have great difficulty with this, so pack light if you want to stay here. However, the hotel does mention about not having a lift so you are aware beforehand. In the bathroom, the shower-head was broken and did not stay up, the shower basin was quite small so there was not much room to manoeuvre, both making it quite annoying to have a wash. It's only a fabric curtain, not a glass shower surround so the floor can get quite wet.

Excellent location, right in the heart of the town and within minutes to all the good spots to be. The room had a great view over the hustle and bustle, the bed was comfortable and the room was big enough. The service was good, the host was very pleasant.

The spiral stairs in the hotel are quite difficult but there is a lift so no problem getting up to the bedrooms. The free car parking is quite a distance from the hotel.

The hotel was very conveniently situated near to all the restaurants and bars. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were very helpful.

Room was at the top of a narrow spiral staircase. (3flights) Very difficult to access. I would not have liked to carry a large suitcase up. Perfect for 1 night
