Not really a dislike but the steps to the accommodation and the ground was a bit slippery in places but the weather was awful!

Western theme makes the site stand out. All good and clean and helpful staff. Easy and different one night stay and we have found somewhere where we would be keen to go again.

An escape to the Wild West in rural France - fabulous for kids!

Since it’s a camping site the supplies provided are minimal. You need to bring your own soap and even towels if you’re a family, since each cottage has only two towels provided. This was impractical given the swimming pool in particular, which was fabulous and we used amply, but had to share towels.

A very unique camping site done up in a Wild West theme. We stayed in a family cottage, which was serene with wonderful outdoor vistas of a small lake and mustard fields. Great stay for children with a large indoor heated pool, trampolines, swings and a ping pong tables. The outdoor was fabulous for the kids and felt like staying even longer.

It was all fine as far as we were concerned.

loved the wacky wild west theme and the cowboy touches in our log cabin were both practical and funny. The host and hostess were suitably attired to make us feel we had arrived at tombstone in the 1880's. They were also very friendly and helpful.

What a strange little place. Whoever built it clearly did so with enthusiasm, joy and skill. But the staff don't seem to be on the same page. I don't think we saw a single smile throughout the two days we stayed here. None of them seemed to be having fun, or even care whether we were having fun. In fact they were downright hostile at one point: On arrival, we'd booked breakfast for two adults and two kids, but later cancelled one of the adult breakfasts because my wife is celiac and they didn't seem to be able to cope with that. Next morning, I and our 5-year-old went for breakfast first, and were then joined by my wife bringing in our 8-year-old. The lady on the front desk followed my wife in and stared at her like she was a criminal for a full two minutes while we chatted, clearly expecting her to steal some bread products or something despite being celiac (although given the fact that the entire room contained only three croissants, a baguette, a couple of yoghurt pots and an automatic coffee machine that made Cappuccino tasting of stale hot chocolate, I don't know what they were expecting her to steal). Places like this get their personality from the top down. I don't know who is currently managing the place, or where they hired their staff, but there is serious room for improvement. I don't expect it to be Club Med, but basic friendliness and respect shouldn't be an optional extra. At least put on some cowboy hats or something.

The Pioneer caravans, the huts and the fake-Wild-West building frontages are pitch perfect and really well put together. The restaurant was also decent, serving a tasty range of Western themed dishes.
