Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaRoom was very small and outdated. Wallpaper falling off in places and only one power point for the whole room which was not near the bed or in the bathroom.
Location was amazing and staff at front desk were helpful. Small lift available to take our bags up to the room.

United KingdomThe only problem was the bathroom was a little dirty, mainly the shower. And the wifi did not work at all. But the positives outweighed these issues, especially for the price.
The room was spacious and all linens felt very clean. There was room service which was a great touch. All the staff was super lovely and helpful. Great location, staff, and cleanliness.

United KingdomEverything was fine! The single room and bathroom may be small for bigger persons, but it was perfect for me.
I was very impressed by the ideal location of this little hotel, just off Rivoli street, 2 mins from the Samaritaine, 5 mins on foot from the Pont Neuf or la Bourse on the other side, and close to Notre Dame too. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I left my luggage on the last day and came to pick it up in the evening. There is a direct metro line to the Gare du Nord, 7 stops - the entry is litterally in front of the hotel. Check in and check out were very smooth. The room was perfect for my holiday. It was clean (and cleaned during my stay). It had everything it needed - a small kettle, a nice bath room and shower, a confortable bed, wardrobe, TV . It may be a bit small and tight for people who are bigger, but it was ideal for me. I walked 20 mins to Musée d'Orsay to see the immersive experience with the Impressionists (a must!!); also just 10 - 15 mins on foot to the Louvre...The area is super vibrant with lots of shops, little parks, supermarket, etc. Wonderful! I would definitely like to stay again in this hotel. Grand merci.

CanadaWhen leaving, I was asked for 3.25€ cash for local tax. What if I didn't have any? This should have been communicated earlier, so luckily I had some Euros on me.
The place is definitely convenient. Location is great and near Chatelet des Halles (sp) metro. The area itself is bustling, so there's some noise from that but it ends at a reasonable hour. The bathroom was small, but for that price, to not have to share, was wonderful! The room is dated but it was reasonably clean and I was only there to sleep and shower and make a cup of tea. Can't beat having a safe in the room too. That made my stashing of personal documents so I could feel good about wandering around. There's a charm to having an old school keyed room. You must leave the key whenever stepping out, so you know you won't get locked out. There is a teeny-tiny elevator for those with mobility issues, but there isn't enough room for a wheelchair and there's a few steps to the door itself. I would totally stay here again if I were passing by Paris in the future. For reasonably priced accommodations, it was a good value. I never used the TV so I don't know if it's any good.

The elevator and bathroom are very very small. If you are claustrophobic you should avoid the place, or at least take the stairs . However, l have to say, the location is excellent.

United States of AmericaFacility is very poor, the shower is so small that you can't move or touch the faucet and cut the water, the soap is poor quality and does not remove grease from your face, poor heating, old towels, poor WiFi. I do not like the fact that I have to turn it and request the room key upon reentry, it makes impersonal. I was in room 26 and was told that rooms in 1;3 and 4 floors were better, thus, I was given a low class room.
The front desk and cleaning staff were very good.

TurkeyThe breakfast isn't enough, There should be more variety. There is a little bit noise outside at nights so the hotel should change the room's windows.

United States of AmericaMy room was a typical small Parisian room best suited for a single budget traveler. It was well-worn with a window that would not close. But, it worked just fine for my 5 days with a grocery next door and a wealth of restaurants within just a few blocks.
Great location, with a subway entry less than 100 feet from the front door! Great housekeeping, friendly counter staff

TurkeyThe walls of the hotel were very very thin, making it somewhat uncomfortable in terms of privacy. We especially had difficulty sleeping on our second night due to the excessive excitement of a group of young and adolescent people. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not sufficient; yeah I know people says "It's a continental breakfast". But, especially if you're someone who engages in active sports like me, it felt like a collection of all unhealthy things. Wanted to point it out. Therefore, each morning we had breakfast at another place in addition unfortunately.
The hotel staff was incredible. The location is great and easy to find, with most points in the 1st district within a short distance. If you are in a hot season, you can walk, but if not, you are really close to the metro and public transportation network.
