The room was very cold and the radiator did not work. For a short stay it's totally alright, but I imagine the room would be super hot in the summer since there is no a/c. I didn't like that I only got one towel.

Staff was really friendly. The location is very good, right next to the subway.

I could hear everything from the guests next door, speaking, tv, bed noises!! Description said courtyard view but I had other windows & pipes. I only needed a place to sleep so it didn’t bother me, however don't sell it for something that it is not.

Beside the metro. On a main road so safer when I’m travelling alone. Room clean. Made the best of an old building, painted. Quaint lift. Room size adequate for a nights sleep

The floor of the hotel room is slanted so that furniture such as chairs and tables cannot stand up straight, making it less comfortable to move around in the hotel room.

The sound isolation was poor, so you heard everthing in the room next or above you, also noise from street. In the upper floor (4th) the noise from street was still tolerable.

Rooms in budget hotels in Paris are usually very small, very worn out etc, but our room it was bigger than usually, clean and perfect location opposite the Gare de l'Est and next to metro station. For the comparable hotel in Paris you can pay much more.

As I mentioned, despite having all the essential facilities available, there are inevitably some drawbacks to the room. Upon entering, I noticed white particles scattered across the purple blanket, which I promptly removed. While uncertain about their nature, it does raise questions about cleanliness.

In general, the bed was comfortable and provided a pleasant sleeping experience, along with the necessary blankets and amenities. Considering the price paid, it's fair to say that it offers reasonable value for money.

This is an old hotel with window only onto light well but at least it was silent.

Excellent location for Metro and buses - just 100m from Gare de l'Est and surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Really convenient. Clean, warm, (snowing outside!) good hot shower, silent. Cheap. Very good value for money.

There was a weird smell in the bathroom. There weren't any toiletries (there was soap and shampoo during my next stay, so maybe I should just have asked). The lights by the bed weren't working.

Convenient location. There's a lift (not all hotels in the area have it and the room may be on the 6th flooor). Comfortable bed. City view with Sacré-Cœur.

Perfectly located a few steps from Gare de l'Est. Clean (no bugs). The bed is large and comfortable. A lift! The city view includes Gare de l'Est and on higher floors you can even see the Sacré Cœur.
