Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The staff were friendly and helpful, we were given a self catering studio whereas I thought we had booked a twin room for my son and me. The facilities had everything expected but it appeared that a phased refurbishment was underway. The hotel was quite a way out and bar prices were expensive.

NetherlandsIf you dont have a car you have to walk alot. This is 25 mins walk from hotel to train station of Biot. 45 mins walk to Center of Antibes. To super market is like 15-20 mins walk. My child is almost 8 years old and she cannot use the indoor pool because it is summer time busy time. But when I book it, it did not say anything about this. They said time schedule when children can have access to it but it didnt say no access at all like what happend. Swimming pool is closed at 7 pm. No night swimming unlike the pool of the apartment next to us which guests can swim at night. The frying pan is too big for the induction plate. No water cooker so we have to boil our water in the pan. The water in all outdoor pool is salt water. Maybe nice if one pool has normal water. A little boring we only spend 1 whole day out of 7 day stay and I was really bored and wished we could have just went somewhere else.
I like that the hotel is situated near Aquasplash, Antibes land and Marineland. The location is also very quiet and not busy/touristy. Basically, if you want to relax has have a wellness spa weekend... then this is your place. Unlike what other reviews says, There is unlimited towel supply. There was a misunderstanding about this in the beginning as we are staying in an apartment. Since we dont have a car, the free shuttle was really helpful at times. The food in the restaurant is overpriced but yes what can you expect in Cote d'Azur. Dont count pennies here. We prepared our own breakfast everyday since we had a little kitchen in apartment. There is really nice pizzaria near this hotel. Be there early as it can get busy. Overall it was a good stay. They lady that drove us to the train station was very polite, sweet and kind. She smiles when she talks like how a hospitality employee should. The two male drivers wearing suit were also nice. They bother to ask us how was our day or where are we going. I cannot say the same to everyone some people there in the front desk does not have positive vibe. Borderline unfriendly I must say.

United KingdomSadly a few things needed improvement. Most importantly for us, the wifi was extremely poor. It was hard to maintain a connection, and when you were connected the speed was awful, taking a long time to load a webpage and it would be impossible to watch a video. Next the location isn't perfect, Biot (the area) doesn't have much in it except the beach and a few shops, and so if you want to go somewhere you should take the shuttle bus into Antibes. You will need to book these in advance, but there were usually spaces. A few smaller downsides, the steam room smelled strongly of damp so we never used it, instead sticking to the sauna. They do not clean your rooms during your stay, but they provide you with anything you might need for that, for example we were able to collect new sheets, and were provided with all the needed washing stuff for dishes. Another thing to note is that they ask for a 200 eur deposit at the beginning of your stay. This wasn't a problem for us, but we didn't expect this when booking.
The spa was nice, and the room was large and had everything we needed. The shuttle bus lets you go to the centre of Antibes & to the train station. We found they were very accommodating with check-ins and check-outs, and there was a lot to do onsite, for example sports that we didn't expect. The swimming pool is very pleasant and we attended it a lot. The sauna was also very pleasant, and the spa had good opening times (open until relatively late at night - 7.45pm) that meant you could spend a lot of time there at the end of the day. Not too far (25 mins walk) from a pleasant pebbled beach and from the local train stop (Biot).

United States of AmericaThe room was not that lovely or cozy. It was hard to find the main entrance and figure out parking at night.
It was great to have a kitchenette. Shower was great. Balcony with a view of the sea was such a lovely spot to eat breakfast! So nice to have staff at the desk all the time so when we checked in late it was not a problem. BEAUTIFUL restaurant and bar on site!

SwitzerlandThe place is very dirty, microwave wasn't clean, dishes were dirty, dust everywhere (on the counter, the table etc), the bathroom was dates and plastics were yellowed. Stains on the floor, the sheets, on the doors Beds were super bad, I had a back pain every morning. .. The pool was also quite dirty and we didn't get any bathrobes and nothing more than 2 towels. No kettle and no coffee or filters either. We had an issue with the bathtub filling up, mentioned it, but they never came to fix it. I eventually unclogged it myself.. Worth a 2 stars maybe? Seems like an old rundown motel in middle of the US
Location is fine, not too far from the center and a little off the touristy places. Beach is relatively close, but you need a car to get there

LatviaIt was more like renting a basement room, not a 4 star hotel experience. No cleaning, you need to clean up yourself before leaving. The air conditioner worked for 2 days and then started to blow a strong urine smell. The kitchen equipment is old and in poor condition. Staff don't know much about the hotel and services, need to consult everything with someone else. Food is served in very limited time slots, so need to plan ahead. Also the sea is quite far, cause you need to go around private properties, and taxis (uber) often reject to go to this area (unexpected but seems to be a common thing in this region).
Spa is great. But you can go in SPA without a hotel booking as I understood.

United KingdomOn booking.com says the room had 2 beds, but it did not. My query was disregarded at reception with no offer to amend the issue. There is no kettle in the room. Rubbish was left by other residents and housekeeping outside my room . The room was not clean and had a large crack in the toilet, which had been poorly repaired. Housekeeping did not speak polite when I requested room to be cleaned and was still not cleaned under bed or balcony or the shutter on kitchenette, all thick dust . I cleaned the room myself before during and after my stay also. Shower broken by sauna only 1 shower entire stay. There is no good explanation of the use of robes.
Nice location, and some staff were pleasant .

United KingdomStairwell to room looked it had not been vacuumed all week. Sink plug was stuck when we first went in room and water couldn’t drain. So couldn’t use sink in bathroom. No one around to fix. No other rooms if same type avail to swap into. Was told we would have to take away our own bin bags and would have to purchase loo roll at supermarket if we used more than 1! 🤪
Good shower.

GermanyRoom was in a bad state. The terrace to the garden was tiny and surrounded by a big hedge that had trash lying around. Mattresses were old. Cleaning was not included and they charged 30 EUR, but when asked to clean the room you had to asked 3 days in a row until they turned up. Basic amenities were missing. We were told that the kitchen should have a kettle but it didn’t. When we requested one, we were told they don’t have any. We then saw an open cupboard next to the lifts that was full of kettles. When we mentioned that to the hotel manager we finally got a kettle. Broken phone was never fixed. So no room service. Restaurant staff was very incompetent and unfriendly. Breakfast was not included. Costs 21EUR per person but after 9am the buffet was very empty. So Unless you want to get up before 8am on your holidays don’t go there. The spa is not kids friendly and does not offer much but a table tennis that closes at 8pm. Spa is above 12 only. Staff is very incompetent and rude. When there are any problems is best not to reach out to the staff. It’s better to have a problem than a problem and being insulted.
After we finally manager to get a new room we had a nice big balcony with a nice view.

Romaniathe floor was really dirty and a little broken, the pools are closing at 19.30, the second bed was positioned in the hallway near the entrance door which was really creepy. We were told from the beginning that we need to throw out the trash when we leave (it was the first time we heard that at a check in). We wanted to upgrade the room but there were no rooms available. If they fix the cleaning it is ok.
