To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sweden1. The room was not checked carefully before we moved in. The garbage bin in the toilet was broken, can’t open the cover. Steel bar under sink was broken, can’t hang tower on it (that was fixed the second day though). There’s a rubber seal for the shower door just laying near the toilets for no reason. When I fed back this to the staff, I didn’t get a single apology. 2. Language. After booking the hotel, all the messages I got were only in French, had to use translation software. Could have prepared at least bilingual messaging. As a hotel near central Paris, should have prepared that not all the guests are from France / understand French. 3. Sound insulation. Very bad sound insulation in the room. Can hear people talking/walking in stairs in the corridor very clearly. The elevator also makes big noise. This is very disturbing at night. We couldn’t sleep without ear mufflers. 4. Shower water. Sometimes the water was not very warm, only around body temperature. It’s not enough for Spring at least. 5. The hotel breakfast was not well prepared. It was said the breakfast starts from 7:00-10:00. When we went there at 7:45, the light in the restaurant near the food court was still off. There’s an egg boiler but there was no eggs. Other than that, the breakfast variants are really limited, no fresh fruits for example.
The hotel is located in very quiet and nice area. It feels safe to walk out at night. Restaurant, grocery stores, metro/bus station are easily accessible. The rooms are newly renovated, downstairs near the reception you get deserts and water 24h.

Czech RepublicThe only thing that wasn't 10/10 was the breakfast, which had a very small variety of food and during 4 day stay it got a bit repetetive. Also there wasn't any fresh fruits or vegetable, majority of the food was sweet, not enough savoury options. Nevertheless everything was very tasty.
We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Cervantes. Our room was ready before the official check-in so we didn't have to wait at all. Initially we got a room facing the train station which was very loud, but it was no problem to switch to room facing the street and we even got a bigger room! The staff were amazingly friendly. The location is great, you have four different metro stations within 5 mins from the hotel so you can get anywhere in the center in 15-20 mins. Montmarte is just a walk away. The interior of the hotel is really pretty and stylish. We would definitely choose this hotel again in the future!

United KingdomThe vibration from the train station and noises. Better sound proof required especially if you staying in the downstairs room next to the lift and staff room. Can’t have a good night sleep. Also bath room very old and tired, needs refurbished, felt like 2 start hotel. Bed sheet s and towels needs to be stainless.
Rooms are nice and clean. Particularly like the water station in the lobby especially with the sparkling water function. Staff are friendly.
