Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsFor some the room may feel a little small, but for us it was perfect. Our room had a small issue with the bathroom door that wasn’t closing all the way. Other than that everything was great
Very nice location and accessibility. Very friendly and helpful staff. All the necessities are in the rooms.

United States of AmericaBathroom was very tiny and using the shower made the room wet.
It had a terrific location next door to a large city park. Very lively and not touristy. Nice little kitchenette, great little bonus to have a little refrigerator.

BelgiumNothing particular.
Great location close to the university - easy rer access from train stations - and the montsouris parc, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Mainly brasseries or smaller restaurants around. Note that the rooms are small , as always in Paris but they actually have coffee and cooking capacity (rare stuff)

RomaniaThe light in the bathroom. Only one spot from the 3 available was working and they could not be fixed due to electrical problems. For a woman, this is an isue, but you also have a big mirror in the room.
I liked the room. Though is pretty small, it's very good organized and you don't miss a thing, including storage space for your things. It's clean, the hotel has a small elevator and it's near a big metro station. Across the street there's a beautiful parc and in walkind distance you have a small Lidl and other grocery stores.

SwedenI didn't dislike anything 🙂
Quiet location in nice residential area off the hectic tourist track, just next to one of Paris' largest parks. Smooth connection to Orly airport. Appreciated the small pentry in the room, and the tiny balcony overlooking a garden across the street. Neat room, neat bathroom with a shower cabin.

United KingdomThe lift which was a squeeze for two people and then frightening when the chamber maid insisted on trying to get in and didn't really understand that guests should get priority and I waited in the basement for it to come back as I felt claustrophobic as I was on tiptoes trying to make more room. The shower also took a long while to get hot but I soon learned this and left that tap and the sink tap to run on hot so it got warmer more quickly!
Location was perfect for my reasons for the Paris trip - transport links were brilliant and a walk from Charlety Stadium where the World Para Athletics World Championships were happening and where I was volunteering. Staff were great, room was an ideal base. Didn't sample the breakfast as my shifts for volunteering started before breakfast started! Quiet room even with the window open all night and next to the lovely park.

MaltaThe room wasn't very clean - there was dust under the beds and in the bathroom, but the worst is the hair in the sink, by the toilet and by the head of the bed. Also found leftover items from other guests like a sock and some coins. Also the musty smell in the closets made us not want to put our clothes in.
The property is very well located, and the staff was nice whenever they were around. Our fan was broken and we got a new one immediately, so they were quite helpful - plus they cleaned our room during our stay even if we didnt ask for it. The building is quite old with a tiny elevator for 2 people, very heavy doors that slam shut - not ideal for tiny kids. Our room was for 4 people, very small with a tiny and almost claustrophobic bathroom. The beds were pretty good, pillows could have been better. However the room was not very clean at all - hair and dust in the bathroom, under the beds and even in the sheets. There were items left behind by other people in the closets like a sock and some coins by the bed stand. Could definitely clean better.
