Wifi didn’t work. I didn’t reserve breakfast through Booking as I thought I would add it on check-in. This wasn’t possible, only through my Booking reservation, absolutely no way to add it. I thought this was the strangest thing ever!! Especially since I thought I would be doing them the favor by adding it locally. The shower/bath didn’t have a curtain or anything, not great if you don’t want to get the bathroom all wet.

Good clean rooms, close to some good restaurants (definitely recommend ‘La Plancha Cuisine Au Feu de Bois). Great location to explore Gorges du Verdon area.

We had to get there before 7 pm so it disturb pur program. Whereas it a hôtel not à résidence de tourisme we could havé arrived after.high rate for what it was.

What a great hotel in a lovely little complex! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, room was clean and well appointed. Restaurants and walk to the lake were right there. Perfect overnight stop on our touring holiday

Perfect if you are looking for an old fashioned dictatorship-type hotel, where rules are severe (no eating or drinking in the rooms allowed) and the way to comunícate them lacks any soft touch. The rooms don’t have AC and there is no mosquito net, you will have to open the windows to be able to breathe. however, there are performances 10 meters away in the square under the window until midnight. Privacy is not something you will find here either, even if you specifically ask not to enter your room, they will do it anyway. Probably to check for crumbs in the bed and assure compliance with the rules. Also, the hotel doesn’t have parking contrary to what is advertised, it’s just the town parking, and if it’s full you are told to just look somewhere else. On top of that, you can check-in ONLY between 3 and 7 pm!! And as a final funny touch, all portable/detachable items in the room have a sticker with the owner’s name, taking you back to kindergarten times. Never going back again

The hôtel did close it front desk at 19h00 (who does that? I can understand that it is a small one but still, during Holidays it should be opened for longer!). We couldn't get our key as we were doing some activités with my friend ealier that day. Even hostels have a longer opene front desk than this hotel. The staff lady that I called wasn't very nice and asked strange questions. I am from Belgium and speak French, the staff in a unfriendly voice asked me if I spoke French, from where I am and other questions of this nature. It would have been alright if she didn't use a unfriendly tone of voice and wouldn't put into context that I didn't understand what she was telling me about where she would put the keys of the room. Her explanation was very bad and once we arrived we had difficulties to find them. We asked some touristes which by chance were staying at the same hotel as we did. The staff lady also told me before proposing to me about the keys to come back the next day if we were not able to get to The room in time, not very profesionnel. Where did she think we would stay the night? Did she think we would go back to where I live and then come back in a two hour drive back ? When we arrived there were NO PARKING PLACES at the hôtel valable. When you have a hôtel with a certain number of rooms there should be enough parking places. The hotel is in a small touristic village, which means there are a lot of tourists, means a lot of cars. The next days, once we went to the lac and then came back to the hotel 20 minutes later around 10h00 as we forgot something in our room, both doors ( Front and back) were closed. Who does that I ask again at a hotel? There was no bell to ring. The owner, a lady, she only opened the door after seeing us when she was in the garden. We waited 15/20 minutes ! That wasn't very profesionnel.

The room was clean. A lady came the next day to clean ( which is strange for a 2 night stay) if we had known with my friend we would have put away our valuable stuff. Good WiFi.

shadow of its former self. used to be fantastic to walk in and have that majestic view from the Lobby over the terrace down to the lake. great for sunset dinners. now it is all locked up ☹️ as a matter of fact ALL doors are locked after 8. By decree of the old lady. front, back, every floor, every door. at 40C outside, and no aircon, it is impossible to beat the heat. never again!

The host was not super friendly, the breakfast was of poor quality (you can only choose between three beverages that are either too sweet or too bitter). The room is quite rudimentary. In the bathroom, there is no shower curtain which makes it very hard not to make a pool out of it… the toilets’ style is coming right out of the 70’s..

The location in unbeatable, restaurants near by and the lake right down the village.
