The room was clean and updated but the bathroom was quite aged, which understandably makes it harder to clean. As others have stated, Yes the walls are thin and you can hear everything going on around you

The shelf with the mirror in the bathroom is hanging incorrectly. If you lean over the sink, you hit your head on the shelf (it's low and close). We left the cheese packed for the trip in the refrigerator, which was bought for gifts. It's our fault. But the hotel staff could have written about it for decency's sake. It didn't happen.

Some basics like replacing used cardboard cups and coffee don't happen automatically as part of the cleaning (although the reception is always happy to help!). Also be aware if you are squeamish, you might find a few stains on the sheets etc...

The location of this hotel is amazing and the staff are very helpful and nice! Everything you need for a few days in Paris 😊 the reception went out of their way to try and get the room ready early for us as we arrived so early too which was kind of them.

But rooms are not really clean enough. We were disturbed by the dust in the room. And hotel staff are very grumpy. They weren't rude but they were sullen.

The hotel is in the city center, you can walk to many places, for example Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre museum, Alexander bridge, Orsay Museum etc. In a back street of Boulevard Saint-Germain. The location is very good. And the breakfast was very satisfied.

Excellent location. This is a lovely area, very close to notre dame and the university (Sorbonne) district. Easy access to the metro although lots to see within walking distance.

Our room was big - we had a double and single bed, and the single was in its own room of the suite, with its own toilet. The view from our room was so lovely - a very Parisienne scene.

We didn't like the fact the male receptionist was over charging the British guests on the city tax ,He was charging clients 6.5 Euros per day and insisting it was paid in advance in cash ,When my partner questioned him he said he had made a mistake and could except card payment at the correct amount. We later witnessed him doing it again to other guests and insisting it in cash ,please be aware of this scam ......

Had a leak coming from room upstairs into our bathroom when they showered or let out bath water. Made staff aware and it wasnt dealt with

Sockets were far from bed. Wifi was extremely poor. The elevator had got stacked twice. We stayed there five days and room wasn’t cleaned again since the day 1 of our journey.

Rooms are totally not soundproof, it was sometimes hard to sleep at night because of the noises in the hotel.

I was given a room on the 6th floor. Now don't get me wrong, I knew I was going to Europe and that stairs situation could be tricky and I didn't have a terribly heavy luggage but the hotel actually HAD the elevator but I couldn't use it to get to my room. Because I was placed on the 6th floor, I had to come to the 5th floor by the elevator and then come down to the 5th floor using stairs if I wanted to use the elevator for my luggage . This was all fine, I could manage 1 stair until I got inside the elevator. The elevator seemed incredibly unstable and needed maintenance, it was shaking a bit and making weird noises and was incredibly slow sometimes, the doors took a little too long to open and it overall made me very anxious. I used the stairs most of the time because of this. Just an information to keep in mind, maybe they'll do something about it.

It was my first time in Paris. The hotel is really walking distance away from good touristic places, especially if you enjoy going to places by walking. I got to the Louvre and everywhere in a short walking distance. If you don't like walking though, I recommend somewhere closer for your trip, that walk is not for the weak or it's not for someone who doesn't use public transportation. The room was just like it was in the pictures, and it was cleaned daily. They also helped me with what I asked (I asked for a pillow change for example) and it was great. The bathroom is very small in terms of space (when you sit in the toilet seat, your legs are almost touching the wall) but it works and has the hair dryer and other essentials. I didn't spend so much time in my room and spend most of my time outside but overall I was happy with the room. As a woman traveling alone, I was pretty much satisfied with my experience in the room.

In a good location in the St Germain area. Close to restaurants and metro. There is a laundromat and gym right around the corner. Room was very clean.
