To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaRoom service staff - one in particular- was horrible. I requested 2 additional coffee mugs so we could have tea at night and make coffee in the morning. Turned into a big dramatic scene with a cleaning lady coming into our room yelling, calling the downstairs front desk, leaving in a huff and then returning with ONE mug. What seemed like an easy request turned into a psychotic episode. There isn’t a single English speaking news channel- not cnn, bbc, sky news, nothing... Even English tv shows were dubbed over in French and they couldn’t be switched back to the original channel. And no Netflix… so no way to watch any kind of tv if you don’t understand French. Other than that, the stay was good.
Location- definitely the best feature of the hotel. The room was clean, modern and updated (we had a balcony with Eiffel tower view) The people at the front desk were helpful booking us a large taxi to get to the airport.

The supervisor of the housekeeping is quarelling with Ms. Mary who is working really good, they should change their supervisor.
superb location and very safe. we just walked to from Hotel to Louvre! The hotel is literally 10 steps away from Hermes (hehe) :) few blocks away from Church, Tram, Grocery and within Embassy offices so really safe! kudos to the girls in the breakfast, they are really great too as well as the reception. including Berto the concierge who has been in the hotel for so long already.

The hotel is a great value for the location. If you are going to Paris for luxury shopping, this is the place for you. It is on a street filled with every high end designer store you can think off. It is about an 18 minute walk to the Louvre museum. Your not close enough to walk to the eiffel tower (onless you are ok with a 40 minute walk). The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and it was an overall good value compared to others in the area. I would stay here again. Note, the toilet is in a separate room from the hand wash sink and shower. So if you use the toilet and someone is in the bathroom taking a shower, unless it's someone that you can walk in on when they are in the shower to go to the sink, you won't be able to wash your hands. This is not the fault of the hotel, I think it is just a French thing and quite a few of the hotels, especially the older ones are like this. If you are staying with a romanantic partner or someone that it's ok for you to see in the shower, then it's ok.

CanadaNot a complaint about the hotel itself, but the location is less than ideal if one is hoping for lively neighbourhood mix of restaurants, cafés, food markets and action. This is all luxe shopping, bodyguards, and security. Steps from the river, Champs Élysées, Palais Royal, Opera etc. Metro is about 300 m.
Comfortable room with abundant breakfast. Clean and efficient hotel set in the very heart of the most exclusive and chic shopping streets in Paris (if that's your thing). Very secure location next to the presidential palace.

TanzaniaOn Booking.com, breakfast option was not clearly narrated, so when I made my booking, I thought I have breakfast but later on during checking in they told me breakfast was not included.
The break fast was very fine, the staff were very friendly and the location was near the town so I saved a lot of transport cost. More over I enjoyed the family room that I was given for me and my family.
