Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe room was very small, but this is apparently usual in Paris. The bathroom was dated but clean.
Location was excellent, right by Rue Cler with lots of lovely food options. Cosy and charming. Staff were fantastic, extremely helpful and welcoming.

United KingdomOur room was slightly small, would have been great if there were coffee making facility!
Fantastic location next to Rue Cler and access on foot to Les Invalides, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elyssee. Great staff, super helpful and clean, tastefully furnished rooms.

United KingdomNot much to say I didn’t like. Bathroom is a little outdated and room was small but not much to complain about
The property was great for location, about 15 mins walk away from the Eiffel Tower and 5 mins in the taxi. The room was comfortable, clean hotel, warm during the cold days

United KingdomThe location was excellent, right round the corner from the Eiffel Tower. There was a cute little side street with typical French restaurants, cafes and shops, so if you want to feel an authentic trip I would recommend going there. The metro is just outside the hotel and takes you to most destinations. Loads of grocery shops near by. We stayed in the triple room and it was lovely. Lots of space to move around in and was clean. Staff and hotel were lovely and very helpful with travel advice. Would highly recommend.

CanadaThe only issue was that my booking.com reservation stated breakfast was included, but I was asked to pay 18€ per day upon checkout. This was a surprise as normally I don’t even eat breakfast, and after discussing with the staff, we settled on paying half for breakfast. This issue I hope is resolved for future bookings through the site.
Excellent location with great access to lots of points of interest and the metro nearby. The room itself was quite comfortable and nicely furnished. Staff are also pleasant and the breakfast was good, I would absolutely stay here again.

United KingdomAbsolutely amazing hotel ! Staff were so helpful made my Daughter's 16th birthday very special. Hotel is in the perfect location right on the beautiful market street with numerous restaurants and cafes to choose from. Room was very beautiful, small but perfectly Parisian. Breakfast was lovley and we were offer freshly cooked eggs or breads. Eiffel tower is less that a 10 min walk from hotel as well as the port where you can hop on and over river cruises to see the all the major sighs.

NetherlandsI'm not a tall person where I come from, but the bed was really very short, feet dangling over the edge. The breakfast room is very small. The space is well used, but you don't want to be knocking things over every way you turn.
Great location, parking right around the corner. Lots of places to eat in the neighborhood. Right around the corner from Les Invalides.

FranceThe room is quite small, but that is normal for Paris!
Clean, tastefully decorated room with a view of the street so "Parisienne". Conveniently located for Eiffel Tower and Champs de Mars and the Seine with its Bateau Mouche. Within walking distance of all tourist sites, or the metro station within 400m if not wanting to walk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

United States of AmericaWe could have wished for a more spacious room as it was a bit tight, but being Paris, it is expected somewhat. My wife, being a cheese person, would want fresh cheese with the petit dejeuner. These are relatively smal issues and they did not affect our overall enjoyment of the stay at the hotel.
The hotel location made Paris attractions walkable. Further there was a Metro stop, Ecole Militaire, right around the corner, so everything in Paris was accessible. The adjacent street, Rue Cler, is a well known market street and a pleasure to wake up to every morning. Further, we could make a food and drink selection along Rue Cler and walk a short distance to the Champ-de-Mar, then haves a picnic with the Eiffel Tower as our view. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful and can make useful suggestions. We were able to schedule a taxi for our trip from the hotel to CDG at a reasonable price. Hotel de la Motte Piquet is a very reasonable hotel for a trip to Paris.

United States of AmericaThe staff could not have been better. Location was great. Easy walking to Eiffel Tower and other great areas. Right on Rue Cler, so plenty of cafes and little shops. Room was small, as expected, but well appointed, clean, cozy. Elevator was a plus. Breakfast was a great way to start. Plenty of choice and perfect way to begin our day.
