Lovely garden and pool

Ours was a good sized, quiet room - I can't believe some earlier reviews saying this hotel is noisy, it was calm, well decorated and perfect for our stay. The staff were all extremely helpful, especially the reception team and the bar staff. The availability of snacks in the bar was also a real advantage but recommendations for local restaurants were very helpful.

A well run hotel and a pleasant stay. Unfortunately the view from the bedroom was a bit obscured by the yacht car park - soon to be made bigger we gather. But look to the right up the bay and the view of Menton is lovely.

Room was good size with a large balcony - only problem was that the road outside was noisy (as we had been warned). So that made using the balcony not really viable. Breakfast was good value - choice was a bit limited - but the price was reasonable. Bar, reception and waiting staff were lovely. Good location within easy walk of everything.

I wish it was warmer so we could use the pool!

Loved the location of the hotel which was near the best beach and close to the old town. The balcony was so nice in the mornings and loved the smell of the croissants baking in the restaurant

No downsides - no restaurant but everything from higher end to pizza available within a short walk.

Our room with balcony overlooking the bay was clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished in modern style. Indeed that sums up the hotel. The location is about a 5 minute walk from the old town and we were able to park nearby (places on the road are scarce but the hotel does have some of its own if reserved). Decent breakfast.

Cleaning could be a little better for a 4 star hotel

Great location, not too far away from the city and not too close to “night busy” areas. Was nice that it had a pool.

Service was sometimes good and sometimes lacking. Needs to be better for 4 stars. One of the automated shades in our suite was broken and unable to be fixed.

Unlike what some reviewers noted, the parking spots are ok. Anyone with average parking skill should have no issues. The views (we stayed in 2 different types of rooms) were excellent. Room service was also great!

Areas outside of rooms and lifts were dark and a bit scruffy and bags of laundry and cleaning equipment were often left lying around. It was a good 10/15 min walk into the old part of Menton where most restaurants and places of interest are.

Check in was easy and reception staff helpful and friendly.Room was bright, modern and spacious. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and fresh products. Hotel is on a busy road but glazing is very good and was not a problem at night.

Room and bathroom were quite small. Sufficient, but small.

Great atmosphere, felt like home from home. Close to the railway station (windows are soundproof so no noise, which was excellent), beaches and restaurant. Comfortable bed.

We arrived for a few days late August, and the weather, although hot, was wet, and quite a few of the beach restaurants/bars had already closed down for the season. It is quite a long walk to town, (it's flat, so easy enough) but tyring having to do it several times, every day. The hotel had no cook/chef, so few options for a meal at night without shleping back to town. As a couple, we were overrun by families...

Hotel Napoleon is a good hotel. Excellent, large, clean & comfortable room with everything you need to make a pleasant stay. Staff were all very accommodating, and the hotel had a good breakfast selection.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was perfect.

The hotel was well situated just across the road from the beach, plenty of free on street parking and staff were kind, helpful and polite. The room was stylish, much larger than the average hotel room of this price with lovely complimentary toiletries and mini bar of soft drinks. Breakfast was extra but good value given the choice of products.

Nice to have a swimming pool but quite small for the size of the hotel.

Very nice warm pool! Right in front of the beach which is amazing. In the center, good location. Service is good. They clean rooms daily and very well even the floors! They provide water in the room and juices which was amazing. Great breakfast. Beautiful outdoor breakfast area. Nice staff
