It was well placed near the autoroute but road noise meant we couldn’t sleep with our window open.

The welcome from staff on arrival and departure was outstanding !! Thank you to the staff team on reception.

The breakfast was excellent far exceeding my expectations. Everything else was as expected in a budget hotel. No complaints at all.

Lights in our room not working properly. Need repair. Cleaning staff would not necessarily check lights, but they need regular checks.

Good and varied breakfast. No plastic plates/cutlery etc.

Rooms are not as soundproof as I would have liked. I could hear the occupants of the adjoining rooms. The plug sockets are nowhere near the mirror so not ideal for drying hair.

They were unable to meet my request for a ground floor room, even though they had 3 weeks notice , other guests with no requests had been given a ground floor room only an hour before I arrived. This resulted in me having to carry my elderly dog up the stairs, I am 74 with arthritis and recovering from cancer. They have met my request at other times, this time it would appear someone did not bother to check the booking.

Still probably the best breakfast at a budget hotel.

Wi-Fi was down which initially was a problem, but management found a solution. Unfortunately had to drive out to find food, nearest restaurant (over the road) tried before...not impressed. Choice of brand restaurants nearby.

Wet room was musty, mouldy smelling as it was enclosed. Better ventilation needed. No soap or hand towel at bathroom sink. No shower gel or body wash. No kettle or drinks. Pay for drinks machine in foyer. We did not bother staying for breakfast as a boulangerie was next door. Towels were more like large serviettes. Still, almost the cheapest room we've found so you get what you pay for. Very difficult to find without instruction, although easy to escape from.

Clean, basic accessible (kind of!) room with wet room. Comfort height loo. Really good powerful shower and a stool provided. Enormous comfy bed..although a little difficult to get out of from the wall side. Light controls above the bed were handy. Free parking. Plenty of shops/restaurants around and the cheapest petrol we've found yet in France was across the road. Chartres is lovely..go see the cathedral at night to catch the son et lumiere show. It's fabulous.

Being located away from a road frontage made locating the hotel's main entry difficult. Access is either GPS was not sufficient. We first located the other ibis hotel in Chartres.

Breakfast was very good. The bed was too hard for one of us. Another pillow would have made for more comfort.
