Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaA basic room. Small window and dark. However, we did not hear the late party. (🤣🤣). Earplugs given. No frills.
Parking was excellent, opposite the hotel. Location was in the Marina. Staff in reception were very good.

SwitzerlandVery friendly, helpful desk staff. Check-in and out were quick and easy. The location is wonderful. Walking distance to all the amazing sites in Bonifacio. Right on the Marina, with shops and restaurants all around. Having a gated car park adjacent at no extra cost was excellent. We arrived in the morning but could use the car park even before check-in. Room had tea and coffee making facilities. Unlike some reviews, we had no issues at all with noise. We did have a room in the center of the building, so that may have helped, although it meant we had no sea view. Small compromise 😀 .

SwitzerlandOur room had no view and the door to the corridor was not sound proof so that we could listen to an entire conversation of people talking outside of our room.
Nice location, the hotel has two very practical entrances (one towards the marina, one towards the citadel) and a parking lot.

CanadaNot being clear about who is refunding me for the first night booked that I cancelled, due to the cyclone that hit the area that stopped the ferry, and forced me to spend an additional night in Olbia. I was told on the phone by Booking.com, that I would get the refund to my Visa, but nothing yet.
The location was perfect for me, coming off the ferry. Super close to everything important. The room was a bit dated, but adequate. First time I have ever had earplugs provided - but I didn't need them, the sidewalk noise was charming. Great staff at reception- she was very personable, and excellent at advising me about the bus to Adjaccio. I really wish I could have stayed the 2 days as booked - but you can't beat a cyclone.

United States of AmericaThe biggest downfall of this room AND being on the harbor side of the hotel is the EXTREMELY loud club, B52, which is located right beneath this hotel. The loud DJ starts around 10:30PM and does not end until 2:00AM!!!!! The loud bass and music is truthfully unbearable. I had 2 sleepless nights out of my 3 night stay. They provide ear plugs in the room but let’s face it - you still don’t get a good nights rest. Avoid the harbor view rooms at all costs if you stay at this hotel - unless you are joining the party downstairs LOL.
Location, location, location - the best thing about this property!!! I think it is a little too pricey for the size of the room and breakfast not being included, but again you are paying for the location. It is located right in the middle of the busy port with so many great restaurants and views. You walk right outside of the back of the hotel and you’re in the middle of everything. Another great thing about this hotel is the PRIVATE parking lot with FREE charging stations for your rental car! That was an extreme plus for me so you do not have to park miles away from your car and walk to the hotel. Reception ladies were very nice and helpful also. I was in room 314 with a harbor view and it was really nice to look out at the port and watch out the window. The beds were comfortable, WiFi was great, and the shower was nice and big!! There is a HUGE downfall to this room and having the harbor view. Please see below in the “didn’t like” section.

United States of AmericaOur first room 314 was small. 10x10 or so. Nice bathroom. Both had big windows facing the harbor so a beautiful view. Around 10pm the DJ at Club B52 cranks up. It’s right nextdoor . The noise and throbbing bass line cannot be escaped. We travel with an industrial strength white noise machine and it didn’t help very much. It’s a street party every night not an indoor disco. We booked the hotel 6 months in advance and the official Description didn’t mention this noise issue at that time. The day before we arrived they sent an email mentioning the club and suggesting non-partyers book more remote courtyard facing rooms. Our 4 night stay required two sleepless nights on rm 316 before they had a vacancy on the courtyard side. The staff was empathetic and willing to help. They moved us to a junior suite gratis which was much larger and QUIET all night long. Whew! Vacation saved! Thank you Front Desk Staff. I asked and was told the Hotel does NOT own the Club. They do cooperate and share facilities. I don’t understand why Bonifacio allows this kind of mass disruption until 2am every night. Must be the money? I do pity the poor charter sailboats docked in the middle of this scene. The don’t stay two nights that’s for sure. Oh and be careful on the steps. They are ancient stone with risers that are uneven heights.
Location is right in the center of town which in Bonifacio means smack in the middle of the yacht harbor and it’s retail lined sidewalks and promenade. Cars are routed around the back of the hotel so harborside it’s all pedestrian all the time. The hotel has a big free parking lot across the back entrance. Google Maps and Waze routed us incorrectly.Don’t try to drive around the docks. Just pull into the large hotel owned lot across from the reception entrance (which I think of as the back of the hotel). 4 free e-car charging stations along the fence so turn left as you enter the lot. Lot seems very secure. Club B52 shares the lot at night so it fills to capacity after 9-10. More about Club B52 below. Staff is super helpful and speaks English. After two weeks all over Corsica our conclusion is that very little English is spoken. We don’t mind that. Kinda adds to the experience. I wish I spoke at least one foreign language. Cleaning staff is friendly and efficient as well. Elevator is small but it helps getting from 5th floor reception to 0 floor opening to the harborside retail & restaurants. Make restaurant reservations even if pizza is your modest ambition. The restaurants are busy all summer long. We visited mid-June. Do take lots of walks. The scenery is divine. Old town is lovely. Distant beaches were well worth a 30-40 minute drive we made a day of it finishing off at beachside restaurants. Open air, no bugs. Sunsets after 9pm. And the turquoise water is everywhere and always welcoming.

AustraliaNo iron in room. Got the iron from reception then had to iron on the bed as no ironing board. Spa bath did not work. No fridge. Can hear every conversation in every room.
Great location. Could not beat it right in town. Short walk to the Citadel and restaurants down stairs. It is advisable to book the restaurant if your staying Fri/Sat nights as it fills up but well worth the prices. The food and service are top notch. Our room was at the back of the hotel so the noise from the nightclub was minimal. Any rooms with a view at the front would get the noise full force. Parking was brilliant, right across the road behind gates. Tea and coffee with a jug in the room. Staff were great and spoke English.

FranceThe noise from the nightclub on the street below the room went on until 01:00. The nightclub (B52) belongs to the hotel and the hotel provide earplugs in the room?! When we commented on it at checkout we were told that we were lucky there were not many clients so they closed an hour earlier than normal. No apology though.

FrancePrivate gated parking opposite the hotel. A very warm, friendly top class welcome. Lift to the ground floor takes you straight out to the harbor promenade with all the restaurants, bars and shops. From there it's a short walk up to the Citadel with its splendid views. Our room also had a fabulous view over the harbor with all the lovely yachts. Location could not have been better!

United KingdomOne of the most expensive hotels during my 4 week trip across France and Italy! Room extremely small and basic, very loud if windows were open. Evening meal was going to cost around another 200 euros! Alternatives eating options were available. Decided to also have breakfast on route in Sardinia; turned out to be a great choice as we found an extremely friendly little cafe about 10 km from port.
location is great for ferry crossing the next day to Sardinia! Also in walking distance to old town and directly on marina.
