It‘s a paradise! Beautiful Garden with a stunning view. Very very friendly hosts. Going up the hill along the narrow street is ok for experienced drivers. Vence is beautiful!

The only negative about this property is getting to it. The switchbacks getting up to the property are hair raising! :-) Be sure to lease an automatic transmission. I leased a standard shift, which did not help with the switchbacks, one of which I usually had to back up to make.

La Colline de Vence was a fabulous property. Our host was terrific. He was cordial and extremely helpful. Everything about the property was just as advertised and even more. The view of the Mediterranean was amazing, from our property. I highly recommend this property and its management. Fabulous expereience.

Breakfast was quite basic(Croissant, juice, bread and butter/marmalade etc) with a choice of coffee and tea and slightly below expectations. The day of the checkout the cleaning lady came to clean the room at 9:30-ish and did not want to leave even though we were busy packing, which was strange. Because the check-out time is 11am and check-in time 5pm, there was plenty of time to clean for the next guest after we leave. it could be a one-off but I found it strange.

The location and comfort. The host and staff were friendly. The grounds are very beautiful and so is the view. We found ample space for parking etc. The rooms were air-conditioned which really helped with the hot nights.

Extremely curvy and narrow roads to the location, with no lunch or dinner service. Must drive down the mountain to Vence for everything.

Julian our host is carefully taking care for each individual, with recomending trips, exquisite evening meals and serving an outstanding freshly made breakfast directly to the table. We had the pleasure to dine at the pergola table with an outstanding view over the cote d' azur. Really a special place we deeply recommend. We definately come again.

Location is good only if you come by car, I think

We been absolutely surprised to see the the view, when at the morning we came for breakfast. JUST AMAZING! Not expected at all! The owner- very friendly and helpful. Met his son and his cute dog . Room was quite big, big bathroom. Large terrace and mini swimming pool. All around with flowers, grapes and different trees… very green, peaceful, wonderful. There was option to use washing machine, what was great for us. Parking big just outside the apartment. Breakfast fresh bread, a little bit of fruit, coffee and etc. would recommend!

Lovely location, with a well equipped apartment, private outdoor space and a really helpful host. You do need a car as the walk to the village and back would be too much unless you are young and fit!

This was by the best hotel I have stayed at in France! The scenery is beautiful, the hotel in quiet and located in spacious grounds. Julian was an exceptional host and provided a lovely French style breakfast on the terrace where you could see right down to the sea!

We did not like that we had to pay city tax when we left, because we found out afterwards that it was already included in the price we had paid through booking.com. The city tax was specified there.
