Friendly helpful accommodating staff. Pre arrival questions were answered promptly. Simple and comfortable room with all the essentials. We had a balcony with beautiful views overlooking the valley. Delicious and varied breakfast buffet (option). Fixed menu dinner good value including tasty local dishes. Very well run: clean, tidy and efficient. Check in and out were quick and flexible - we arrived quite late, and paid our bill the night before leaving. Easy walking distance to centre of village for nightlife, shopping and skiing facilities. Car park right in front of the hotel. EV charging point only 500m away.

Nothing much to complain about. I’m nit-picking here. The cold breakfast was perfectly adequate, but an option for toast and eggs would have been appreciated.

A nice family-run hotel a short walk downhill from village centre. The navette bus stops directly outside, which is very handy for skiers & boarders. Clean, spacious room with balcony offering superb views of Châtel. Very comfortable bed, continental-type breakfast, amiable staff. Enjoyed my stay here. Would definitely return in the future.

The staff does not really speak English unfortunately so that was an issue when asking for help with retrieving our ski passes, locating the closest ski lift, etc. Also, we waited one hour for our dinner one evening. FYI There are no options at all for vegans and vegetarians (only cheese and fries basically). Also, the first night my husband could not eat his food, as the steak was brought to the table rear, even though he asked for medium rear. The restaurants in the village get packed super quickly so make sure to book a table in advance for dinner.

This family run hotel served as a great base for our first family skiing trip. There is a lovely atmosphere to the hotel which is in a great location despite the short walk up the hill to the free shuttle bus. Can agree with the other reviews the walls are a bit thin the hotel could do with modernisation. If you do eat in the hotel make sure you are hungry as the food is fantastic!!!!!

Perfect location for staying in Chatel, shops and city center are near. Quiet and retro-style rooms with beuatifule mountain landscape decoration. Great for a couple for a weekend getaway, we loved it. Big plus for the most beautiful elevator I have ever seen :)

Shower curtain! Shower was small and the curtain felt very unpleasant!

Very French property. Room was a good size and beds were comfortable. Nice balcony view to sit outside with a beer and watch the sun set. Great breakfast for £10, plenty of choice but you have to ask for an egg if you want it hot!

The owner was incredibly rude to us, rolling her eyes and sighing. We agreed to pay for all meals on the last day for convenience but she questioned us relentlessly regarding payment.

It didn’t snow while we were there, but it had snowed the previous week. out the front of the property it was iced over and really difficult to walk out the door without slipping over.

Great location, a few minute walk from the centre of Chatel and on the bus route to the ski stations. Accommodation is comfortable and clean. They have pool tables and table football on the ground floor for the children.
