Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Germanyeverything was just right, this is a small boutique hotel right in the center of the city. Great location, quiet with no traffic day or night.
the staff is extremely welcoming, even considering our language barrier. We asked for extra towels and they were delivered straight away. The room was small, but very well organized and clean, quiet during the night with a good and quiet AC unit. I would definitely recommend this little hotel.

United States of AmericaThree flights of stairs to get to the room. No lobby to sit in, a small hotel on a very narrow street. sparse furnishings in the room.
Staff were helpful and the premises were very clean. A good breakfast, extra cost. Basic comfort, a large double bed in the room, good lighting. Perfect for a short stay

SpainThe breakfast could be improved quite easily with decent coffee - even a cafetière would be better than the poor quality coffee from the typical hotel coffee machine. The cold meats and cold hard boiled eggs were unappealing. Guests could boil their own eggs if there was an electric egg boiler or make their own toast if there was a toaster.
The location is great and it’s quiet.

SpainWe carried our own little kettle to make early morning tea. Perhaps a mini kettle and a couple of cups in the room would be nice - although it was absolutely no problem for us to sort ourselves out!
Very quiet and peaceful with excellent views of the Pyrenees and the Canigou. Municipal parking about 5 mins walk from hotel. Rooms very clean and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful without being intrusive. It was our second visit and we'll certainly return!

United KingdomThe stairs are difficult to walk down as the handrail is on the left hand side. I would not recommend this for an elderly person.
I loved the central position of the hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious.

GermanyI paid an extra 15€ for a room with balcony with view on le canigou mountain and the "balcony" was no more than 20cm deep, you couldn't even stand on it and the Canigou could not really be seen behind a hill (just the tiny gray tip of it as seen on the photo) Absolute marketing lies. When i asked the manager to either give me a room with balcony or make me pay the normal room rate she refused in bad faith to admit this is not up to par with what they advertise. Really rude to me.

United KingdomThe room was quite cramped and at the top of 3 flights of uneven stairs and no lift. The staff seemed a bit uninterested and there was a smell of smoke occasionally especially in the breakfast room where a staff member was smoking on the terrace outside an open door. We found the signs everywhere, such as a list of charges for missing towels, offputting
The hotel was quiet even though in a central location. Breakfast was fine. We were able to store our bikes inside under the stairs.
