We initially booked a twin room and it was very small with no property shower (just a shower head connected to a bath). We asked for another room and very kindly the receptionist gave us a suite that was available for the 2 nights our stay, which we enjoyed. We would have been disappointed with the twin room if that was all that was available. There seemed to be a lot of maintenance / drilling work going on through the day.

Location is excellent. Garage parking at six euros per day a bonus in this town where parking is generally very limited, although you do need a small car to access. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite and it was very comfortable, great bed.

The hotel was in a very old building with modern bedroom with large en-suite. There was a car park available that is offered for small cars as the entrance is tight. I managed to get a fairly large car in by retracting the door mirrors and I was able to turn around in the parking area next morning to avoid reversing out. The receptionist on arrival was lovely and the man hosting breakfast was great also.

No lift - just stairs, but someone helped us carry the suitcase up to the second floor. The fan didn't do a lot to cool the room down in such hot weather (38 degrees).

Very modern and clean. Quick and easy check-in, and receptionist organised a taxi for us. Great view from windows, and excellent location near centre of old town. Loved the 2 basins in the spacious bathroom.

I was almost injuiried by their authomatjc cage of the parking that doesn't seem to be provided by a stop mechanism while closing.. it might be dangerous.. also hotel and breakfest are not anything special

It was hot and there is no A/C, but the open window and fan was ok.

The room was clean, nicely decorated, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful, and speak English.

Wifi wasn’t amazing but I didn’t really need it. No A/C which was tough when 90F outside. Felt warm in room. We did have 2 fans which helped but wish they added A/C to the room.

Hotel is centrally located next to everything: Citadelle, restaurants, shops, main tourist area…The room (the suite) was spacious and modern and clean. I was pleasantly surprised. We had wonderful view from our windows. Was nice and quiet. Gentleman at front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is free after 7pm right across the street so we did that (if you can find spot).

Very welcoming and helpful gentleman manning reception and dealing with breakfast. Parking under the hotel. Plus parking area outside the hotel, good availability (in May at least). Centrally positioned, very convenient. Not far from the superb Citadelle. Various restaurants close-by.

A lounge available for residents was lacking.

The hotel is in the centre of town and it is easy to walk to bars and restaurants. We also we at the bottom of the hill so we could walk to the citadel. Some facilities of a four star hotel in a two star.

The on site parking! We pre booked but it is very narrow, below ground and almost impossible for a longish medium sized car to manoeuvre. If cleared of rubbish it would be less difficult but still unpleasant.

The hotel is in the heart of the town, which is very nice. We were a little mislead by the text in booking and used it for 3 adult. The one room was too small for us - our fault

Car park is underground and was too narrow and low for our large SUV with roof box. That said the hotel did sort out a parking place nearby.

Location in the city center was almost next to the pedestrian old town area and a short walk to the citadel with a nice restaurant round the corner. Room was comfortable and larger then expected and the staff friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was fine but a couple of items ran out and I had to find someone to replenish them. When I did that was done quickly but they should be keeping an eye on that.

Due to the one-way system it took us a little while to find the hotel but it was well worth the effort. We were greeted by a very helpful young man who spoke good English and showed us to our room. This was clean, airy and had everything you could reasonably expect. He then opened the garage so that I could park my motorcycle at no charge. He recommended a restaurant, L’Oppidum, which was excellent (see separate review).
