Gorgeous spot, simple chic rooms, good restaurant! Staff helped me when I forgot an item. Beach view is lovely and whole feeling is very intimate.

Got no complaints - simply cannot fault the hotel!

Beautiful, cozy, chic, spotless hotel in a stunning beachfront location. Delicious gourmet food from early am to late pm. We especially enjoyed the dinner menu. Superb customer service throughout (even the cleaners were excellent). It was a pure joy to stay there. The breathtaking view from the gym made it a pleasure to work out each morning. Can highly recommend this hotel.

Bathtub in the middle of the room meant no room for a table or desk, so we had to work on our laptops on our laps, and meant that the armchair had to go under the TV, which was useless. Not enough shelf space in the bathroom, so our bathroom kits were on the floor. All or nothing breakfast buffet for 25 Euros- a great buffet, but sometimes we just wanted a croissant.

Excellent wi-fi, wonderful location right on the beach, wonderful staff who even lent us a sun umbrella to go to the Lavezzi Islands and remembered every day what we liked and ate, very quiet

it had everything I wanted in case I would not be able to tour around Corsica (heated pool, beach, restaurant on site, 24/7 reception). the place is very nice and they think of everything (twice changing out rooms, coffee/tea and kettle, plenty of towels without asking, beach bag with beach towels). Their breakfast was very nice (fried, omelette and scrambled, and soft boiled eggs!). their all day and dinner menu is tapas and very reasonably priced. the staff were kind and never made you feel annoyed or they were doing you a favor or wanting anything. I loved the hotel!

1. Overpriced breakfast. 2. Being so isolated, there should be a shuttle to the nearest town - a taxi to and from the town costs an absurd €50, and driving means one of you can’t have wine with dinner. 3. Officious and offputting prohibition on putting own drinks or food in minibar - we needed somewhere to keep our water cold, and occasionally to put a yoghurt or a chocolate bar (see remarks on isolation).

Fabulous style, lovely architecture. Gorgeous views across the bay. Lovely, though small, swimming pool. Excellent, and good value, informal dining in beautiful setting.

Apart being well located this hotel has unfortunately not much to offer. Despite being advertised as a luxury hotel I feel like the only luxury thing about it was the price. The rooms are really small, gym is almost non existant (literally only 5 machines) and the pool being extra tiny. We have also paid a surplus to have a sea view but it was more of a “neighbours wall view”. I do not recommend this hotel.

- BEWARE, after 8pm the local mosquitos come out and they're HUNGRY! - The single showers with the shower head in the middle make it actually difficult to wash! - The food is very tasty (apart from one night when the octopus was overcooked and tasted of coal), but expensive... 8 euros for a side bowl of guacamole!!! - Breakfast isn't worth anywhere near 25 Euros - we had it once and then decided never again. - Breakfast staff were non-existent/rude/completely unhelpful - The price of the stay is pretty high for what you actually get

- Hotel Mariosa is a a nice hotel situated about 10 minutes drive from Porto-Vecchio. - The pool and private beach are fantastic - Rooms are a good size, although having a desk rather than a bath in the middle of the room would be more practical. - Afternoon/evening staff are REALLY great, lovely team!

The toilet is in the room with only a not completely closing glass sliding door to set it apart. That door is also the door for the shower, so you can either close the toilet a bit, or the shower, but never both. It’s impractical, and as far as the toilet goes, people might want a bit more privacy.. Further on, in the pictures you see a jacuzzi bath with all sorts of jets. This bath is in the room, but it doesn’t work, as the receptionist explained afterwards, that is the reason that they don’t mention it in the advertisement. Based on the very clear pictures you do expect it though, so this is a bit misleading.
