Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast was more expensive than expected (I should’ve asked upfront).
Amazing building with big clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and location is great! Close to parking and walkable to most things in the town

Lighting in the rooms
Great location in the old part of town ..a short walk to napoleons house some great local restaurants and the citadel.

The view from the room was on the roofs of other homes around. The front door to the hotel are very heavy and require much force to swing open.
Location - the hotel is at perfect location, close to the port and in the district full of restaurants. The hotel is quite stylish, but kept in the dark tones.

The pictures of rooms were misleading. We booked a superior room with balcony and fridge. There was no balcony or fridge. The bathroom fan was broken. Hotel advertises parking. It is limited and 40 euros a day.

The room furniture is dark and the whole room is like dark. I understand the design, but should change lights to be more lighter if someone wants it. 😊
Super clean and super kind staff. Right in the city centre. Parking is 40€ per day, but you can park 3 min away in parking diamant, about 20€/day. Breakfast stunning, but expensive. Staff helps you with anything you need.

No Tesla destination charger or other EV charging service available at this hotel.
Nice location in "the midst of it all" in a pedestrian zone which one can access by car to drop off luggage using a QR code that the hotel sends before arrival. Despite being in the midst of Ajaccio, the street facing room was quiet to sleep in. Nicely air conditioned. A relaxing stay in a super central part of Corsica's capital.

I had inquired about best restaurants in the area and was told that there were so many to chose from, which was true. However, the staff did not tell me to make reservations ahead of time; which I should definitely have done.
The location was amazing. We walked right out of the hotel door to be in the loveliest part of town full of nightlife and restaurants. Accessing the property by car was challenging but the staff was very gracious and met us to ease our arrival. It was the perfect location to discover the city of Ajaccio by foot.

The only thing missing is a fridge, especially in this warm weather it would be great to be able to keep some drinks cold.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Location was perfect to explore the town as well as being in a very famous street where Napoleon was born. Information from the hotel regarding arriving with our car was easy to understand – unfortunately the gate into the pedestrian only street was not being supervised when we arrived, but the lovely receptionist from the hotel walked down to sort things out for us. Information on what to do & see as well as restaurant suggestions were also given. The room was extremely comfortable & a great size, along with the bathroom. The valet service offered for the car was not cheap, but it was well worth it to be able to arrive at the hotel & have the car taken care of…..& then delivered next morning freshly hosed off & bottles of water inside the car – great service!
