Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The receptionists were exceptional, and very helpful. They were available 24/7 also. The hotel was easy to find and at a great location close to Metros and buses making it easier to move around freely. The hygiene of the hotel was also very exceptional

Amazing and responsive staff. Tasty breakfast. Great location, especially for those arriving to Gare du Nord. We did not expect a luxurious stay, so we were very satisfied with hotel amenities. One very useful thing - you can stop by other Astotel chain hotels in Paris for a quick snack/coffee - we used this one a few times, which was handy during walks in the city.

Nothing much at all! Being very picky, the bed wasn’t the comfiest ever but wasn’t a problem. No iron in the room (although I’m sure these may be available upon request).
Great location near transport links. 5 min walk to a good metro stop and 15 min walk to Gare du Nord. Excellent room with lovely balcony. Really nicely decorated (like the whole hotel) and very clean. Pleasantly surprised by the room size and the bathroom was great. Mini bar restocked daily and snacks available in the lobby. Lots of power sockets and some usb ports for chargers. Staff very friendly, helpful and polite. They also arranged a lovely gift for our anniversary which was very kind and unexpected. Good facilities and access to those in other Astotel hotels - would definitely stay here again. Great value for money.

It can be loud as you have a busy street downstairs. Best to bring some ear plugs or a noise maker if you are a light sleeper. That would be the only thing as we really enjoyed our stay here.
We loved the juice/coffee/tea/snack bar from 2p-2a as it was great to grab a few items to snack on. They give complimentary drinks in your fridge every day which was nice to grab and head off for the adventure of the day! Easy to walk to many of the metros and many other places to see. Lots of nice eating places nearby. The staff was so nice and friendly. Great cleaning crew that tidied up the room every day. We had a pretty good view of the Eiffel tower in the distance from our balcony and watched it light up every night.

Location was great. You can see Eifel tower from our room at 4th floor . Staff was realy kind and helpful. The sanck desk at entrance realy thougthful and cute. Overall I realy like the hotel.

The staff was amazing they were very helpful. especially "Riad" he really made a great effort to make my stay as comfy as he could. Surely I would stay there once again because of him. The location is good very close to metro and bus stations and the room was a little bit small but very clean and comfy

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Palm Astotel! Great location, rooms are small but organized well, clean and great service.The staff were so helpful. Emma at the reception desk answered all our questions and even gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. The free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks in the afternoon until evening are a bonus.

The bed was a little hard. Although I like a softer bed. So it's probably personal preference.
The staff were very helpful. It was well priced for the location and the facilities. The best feature is the free non-alcoholic drinks and access to other Astotels around Paris to use their bathrooms and get water. Also appreciated the microwave. Will come again on my next visit.

Elevator is very small but does the job.
Good location, small rooms but clean and comfy. Staff was nice, Emma was very kind and helpful. Loved the snacks and drinks that were available for guests in the afternoon.

Great location for Eurostar walking distance from station. Rooms very big and hotel quite modern for Paris. Lovely to have balcony with Eiffel Tower views. Staff very friendly, fluent English and went out of their way to help and make our stay more comfortable. Breakfast also great value for money and open bar and free mini bar an added bonus.

Tv not got many channels but only an issue as unwell. Shower takes a time to heat up but fine as long as you run for a bit
Apart from the staff that really enjoy being friendly helpful and relaxed the wee extras just make it stand out. The free drinks mini bar sister hotels and lovely breakfast. Lovely room with cracking view and place to sit out. They also took pity on me as I’ll and gave me room straight away rather than wait till usual time
