Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was tiny, barely room to stand so while it's good for a one night stay to explore the city it's not somewhere to stay if you want to spend much time in the room.
Staff and lounge area were great. Location is ideal- right beside a bus and metro stop.

The air conditioning wasn’t cool

The hairdryer worked quite unconventionally. It turned off randomly in the middle of the drying session.
The room was very clean. It had all the element of a nice stay for a few days. The location was ok, the fact that there was a metro station right in front of the hotel was just amazing.

The hairdryer was attached to the wall and not working properly, it would shut down after just a few seconds of using it, this was a bit frustrating and when I asked for another one they suggested that it was normal to work like this. Also my friends in other rooms had problems with the hairdryers, they should find a solution for this.
The position of the hotel is a bit far by the center, but it is really well connected by metro and buses. The area felt safe during day and night time. I liked the hall in the entrance, it was a good place to gather or rest, the playful furniture and games. The room was a bit small but comfortable, it had everything we needed for a few nights stay. We didn't try breakfast, but we tried the bar and it was good. I highly appreciated that they cleaned the room and toilette everyday, and the white soft towels and sheets. They also have a laguage deposit where we were able to leave our bags the last day.

I don't know why they took a deposit from my credit card without notification. My friends who had a separate booking didn't have to pay a deposit. Both I and my friends chose to pay at the hotel on arrival. Furthermore, the deposit wouldn't be returned till a week after I checked in.
Clean room, good location, easy to get to everywhere.

Service only in French... If you are English-speaking, you are lost. Restaurant Personal ignores you. Breakfast is not as good as a good Paris Boulangerie.

It is a good distance from Paris City Centre. The dinner food is passable, but best to eat elsewhere.
Very nice staff. Room, even though it was not one of the newly renovated rooms, was clean and comfortable. Nice quiet area, located right outside metro entrance. Luggage storage is allowed after check out.

The hotel was a bit crowded so it was hard to get a table during breakfast.
The hotel was located near to the metro station so it was easy to get to key attractions. Rooms was clean and cozy with great mini bar. Breakfast was tasty. It was a great stay in a good price.

Internet directions not up to date, especially from CDG airport.
Location was excellent, close to public transport. Receptionist was extremely helpful, able to converse in English was a bonus. Room was and clean and fresh.
