Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. We had drinks at the bar and Luca, the bar tender, gave us good background on different wines to try, both of which we enjoyed.

Nothing to do in the area, is limited to move by public transportation to Geneva at night time. No free transportation between the hotel and airport

There was some kind of weird behaviour of some members of the staff. The first night someone came over our room to ask us whether we had paid by card or rather cash. And all this at 23h30 in the evening! Complaints have been addressed to the management of the hotel. However no one had reached out to explain after that. It remains a mystery what were the intentions of that individual showing up to a room where 2 girls stayed around midnight....
Very clean rooms, decent breakfast, some members of the staff very professional and friendly.

The hotel staff were very friendly, it was clean and the facilities were great. We stayed after getting engaged in Switzerland and it made our night special whilst celebrating!

Location. There are only few bus that comes to the hotel route.

Hard to find anything negative to say. A lighted mirror outside of the bathroom would be nice, but that's not a complaint.
Beautiful remodeled rooms. Wonderful breakfast. Quiet. Night manager was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing off hand.
Really big room which was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Reception staff very helpful. Good position only a short walk from the bus into the city. Also close to shops and resturants.

The noise from the airport bothers me a little bit.
Excellent Hotel. Good and tasty breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The personnel is professional. Enough space for free parking.

our evening was somewhat spoiled in the bar, where we were enjoyong a drink and food. the rather beautiful grand piano in redeption was sort of 'attacked' by a young woman who proceeded to thump both ends of the keyboard whilst stamping on the amplifying pedal. no attempt to play, nor musical skill, simply an awful noise. when i asked her to stop she ignored me. i then asked the member of staff attending thr bar t ask her to stop, which he did. However she then came over to me at my table to inform me that she worked at the hotel! she was clearly a bit drunk, quite obnoxious, unapologetic and not a little angry at me. very poor.

At this price point and given the location, there is nothing to complain about.
A very affordable hotel stay close to Geneva. The room was quite large, with a big, comfortable bed and a spotless, sizable bathroom. The hotel itself looked new or renovated recently, so did the rooms. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and polite. Parking was included, easy to find and access.

Super helpful staff. We had to stay close to the airport and the hotel staff was so friendly and helpful... Thank yoj for that. Actually - a nice place to stay in Geneve - cheaper and more comfortable than similar places in Swiss part...
