Our room (duplex apartment) was REALLY warm at night. We couldn't sleep with the windows open and the AC didn't seem to reach upstairs by the bedroom. The bathroom smelled badly from the (visible) mildew in there. Bath towels were rather small and toilet paper was very thin! I'm not convinced that the hair in our bed sheets was from us :( and there were some stains on the sheets that I noticed when pulling out the duvet on the last morning (not from us). Suggest you check the beds upon arrival.

Super friendly staff. Ample breakfast that was regularly replenished. Good location (quiet despite being opposite a church). Little playground by the church. Easy access to tram and metro and shopping :) I noticed there were items you could borrow, like a kid's stroller, little bike, games etc, which was a nice touch.

BATHTUB: The AP shaped bathtub resulted on being a narrow bathtub when wanting a bath, now ideal for bath lovers LOCATION TO CENTRAL LYON: It was a bit far to walk to the main shopping street Rue de la République (about 25 minutes), the same for the Old Lyon but you can always use the Tram if you wish.

ROOM: The room was very spacious and the bathroom was big. The kitchenette facily was as expected. Very big tv Everything was working properly VERY CLEAN: The cleaners cleaned throughly every day RECEPTION: There was always someone at reception would you need any help. TRAIN: Near the train station Perrache and 10 minutes walk to a big Carrefour (at Confluence)

My bed was a bit on the lumpy side - you could hear the springs squeak. but I still managed to sleep well. Also, despite the nice thick red curtains, the morning light still came into the room, so we always woke up early. It's because there's a gap between the curtains and the wall. I suggest a quick fix - put hooks on the wall next to the windows. Then put studs (a hole) in the curtains. At night, guests just need to loop the curtains onto the hooks and seal off the gaps completely.

The location was very good. The staff at the reception were always friendly and helpful. I also liked it that our room faced the courtyard, so we never heard the traffic. The housekeeping was also very well done. The room always looked neat and clean upon our return. The Turkish/Lebanese restaurant a few doors away was excellent. Lots of small markets and patisseries on the same street.

Being very picky, I had to ask at reception for a bottle opener (tire-bouchon) for my wine bottle. But one was very cheerfully and quickly provided, I suspect this is a frequent request!

The rooms are lovely little studio type apartments with everything I needed. The kitchen has a microwave (used 3 times) and two hobs for cooking (not used this time). There is a large and comfortable bed and a good shower. The Aparthotel is well situated close to Ste Blandine tram stop and close to a useful Casino supermarket. A very large Carrefour is 5 minutes walk away (towards the Confluence)

The location of the hotel is great. Metro and tram stations very close. Room were clean and tidy. We enjoyed breakfast very much, the variety and flavor was sufficient. The staff was responsive and very kind. We would especially like to thank Pascale at the reception and Leo in the breakfast area. They were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was mediocre food-wise but the fact that I was basically ordered by entry level staff to eat from a tray really takes the cake. Never in my life I have experienced anything so out of pocket in a hotel restaurant. I understand having some standard operational procedures but they should not interfere with basic etiquette.

The only thing to watch is the rooms in the back building are smaller than the rooms in the front but when we asked to be moved to front building they did.

Everything about this hotel was amazing including the location (close to train station, shopping etc..). The rooms were very spacious, clean and well-maintained. The lady at the reception (I did not get her name) but she was great. I was sick for 2 days and she was empathetic and very helpful. I recommend highly.

There were kitchen utensils in the room but it's locked in the cupboard, it seems like we had to ask the staff to open it. Not a big deal but a bit inconvenient.

Lovely room with super comfortable beds and equipped with everything we needed (kettle, microwave, hair dryer...etc.). The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a nice, convient area and it was really quiet at night (I barely hear any noise during my stay). Easy access to Gare de Perrache with less 10 minutes walk. Would come back again.

We were surprised there was only one chair (difficult for 2 people eating). Larger china cups would have been nice, though large paper cups were provided. We would have liked some light in the desk / dining table area.

The location was excellent for our needs, and so we would happily stay here again. The room was clean, comfortable, warm and quiet. The room was generally well appointed, the cooker and the fridge were fine.
