Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBreakfasts left a little to be desired... £21 and most of it was gone by mid service. The pastry delivery was a nice touch but limited options.
Absolutely stunning room and with balcony room. We had a prestige suite, staying for our honeymoon, and the view was to die for. The master bedroom was lovely with the bed facing the view and privacy curtains as needed. Each room had its own AC and the cooking facilities were as expected. Location was good, very near the beach.

United KingdomAn excellent location but 15 mins from porto vecchio. If you arent driving its troublesome as no public transport and cab cost €25 one way. Dont book ferry on sunday or go anywhere as public transport is nil, nothing other than very expensive taxis about €105 to Bonaficio. The sea here is amazing, which makes up for distance. And, the pool and view etc, from the top of the property, including the jacuzzi, are fabulous. The staff are helpful and courteous. Bring insect repellant as there are mosquitos. The comfortable apartments aren't grand, but basic facilities are sufficient with fridge, kitchen, utensils and a TV. The beds are comfortable and great for 3 or 4 people. A lovely location with an unbeatably beautiful beach.

United KingdomWe were put into a more “dated” building which needs a fair amount of attention. Tired paint outside, squeaky door that is hard to close. Pavement and road the door is messy and full of dirt. It didn’t drain properly after the rain FOR HOURS. The issues didn’t stop there. We had problems with hot water supply on the first two days. We also had unpleasant smells coming from the bathroom (in all honesty the stuff was asked to fix that and they came but didn’t manage). So every time we would come back to the room or wake up to a “cat pee” smell. That was disappointing for the price that we paid, especially given that the breakfast or any perks weren’t included. I also have to say that for a 4 star hotel the range of facilities you get is somewhat limited. Overall - amazing location, but don’t expect anything special from the hotel. I think they do have newer rooms up the hill, but we didn’t get one so hard to tell.
Very nice location in the beautiful Santa Giulia bay. Very lush and green established gardens. Easy walk to the beach. Stuff are also (mostly) attentive.

FranceI think 30 euros for a child’s bed is a bit ridiculous. I’ve traveled a ton and have never been charged let alone 30 euros

AustraliaRoad access is a little tight on the resort entrance, the rocks to prevent non resort beachgoers parking can be a little abrasive when passing other vehicles. Once inside the resort there's plenty of room and parking available
