Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe biggest downside of this hotel is that the rooms don't have individual control of their thermostat. We got a little warm and had to sleep with window open and heard a lot of street noise. For us this was a minor issue but may be a bigger issue for others. When we first arrived the Lobby was being redone so no common area to sit and relaxed but was close to being fininshed by the time we departed. The Elevator is pretty small barely fit two people with luggage, but not a major deal it's a smaller hotel so not a lot of competion for the Elevator.
The two biggest highlights that we loved about this hotel. First the staff particularly Wilfreed he has a great host and did everything he could to make sure we were happy. If we needed a cab in the morning it was waiting for us. He gave us great tips for the city and helped us get around. He was very accomodating. The second plus to this hotel there is a metro location literally right outside your door for there you can get to any place in Paris in 30 minutes or less for just over 2 euros.

TurkeyThe building is very old. It was clean but since it is very old, it does not seem like it is clean.
The location of the hotel is the best feature they have. Very close to the subway(M6) and Eiffel tower. Their breakfast was very tasty also. I recommend you to have it.

LithuaniaYou can tell this is an old hotel that needs renovation. The carpet in the rooms is clearly stained, giving the impression of being dirty all the time. There is one lift in the hotel, which is very slow and small, but I guess that comes with the location and the building, so it can not be helped. The rooms are small, but they do not advertise them as spacious places, so you get what you see in the pictures. To sum up, it is an old, cramped hotel in a superb location perfect for people who plan to spend most of their time exploring Paris.
The location is the obvious selling point of this hotel. It is right next to a RER station and a few hundred meters from the Eiffel Tower. The room service and cleaning were good enough; our rooms were refreshed daily. The bed linens and towels were clean. The shower was quite spacious in comparison to the size of the room itself. Everything worked as it should have.

United KingdomThere was quite a lot of noise from the street e.g. police car sirens at night. The breakfast room was in the basement and was relatively dimly lit and had no natural light.
Excellent location close to Eiffel Tower and train stations. My kids enjoyed the cat, Lily, who lives in reception at the hotel. Wilfred on reception made us feel very welcome.

United KingdomIt was a shame the hotel was undergoing works whilst we were there, so there was no bar or snack areas. We were not impacted by any noise, etc, though. As a disabled person, I really struggled to climb into the (very high-sided bath) to use the shower, but with assistance, we figured it out.
The location was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The bed was big and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Recommended.

GermanyHotel room is quite small and a bit old. But I mean, it's Paris and the price is acceptable, so I guess we have to accept that!
The hotel is very close to Eiffel Tower, which is quite a cool experience! But since Paris is such a big city and Eifel is not on a very central spot, so it is a little bit far away from the "center". But the hotel is very easily accessible with Uber or public transportation. There are supermarkets, Cafes, bakeries, restaurants in the neighbourhood, quite convenient. The parking garage close to it is also good with an acceptable price.

AustraliaHotel was being renovated which was inconvenient. There was a water leak on our arrival in one of our rooms and the carpet was saturated with water. The Hotel must have known about this however when we notified them, they made an attempt to make out it must have just happened. We had not used any water at all, we had just walked in, took our shoes off and got wet feet. They arranged a heater to dry up the water while we went out but it made the room like an intense sauna with unbearable heat. Hotel could not hold luggage due to renovations and advised us to go next door to subway food store who charged us a high fee for storing our luggage, in a storage room, due to arriving early before 3:00pm checkin. We were concerned our luggage would not be there on our return but thankfully it was all there on our return. We had emailed the Hotel several days before the booking date to ask for an early checkin time, advising we were willing to pay extra but never got a response from them.
Location was great.

United States of AmericaIf I were being really picky, I’d say the room was a tad on the small side, and the decor was slightly tired/worn, but it was clean and comfortable and close to everything.
It was very close to the Rigel tower and was central to everything we did in Paris (Versailles, Disney, catacombs, arc, etc.) It is literally across the street from both the Bir Hakeim Metro stop (line 6) and the Champs de Mars (Eiffel) RER C stop. It was clean, and the staff were helpful.
