We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

MaltaThe AC did not work at all due to mechanical problem. They said that it will soon be resolved and repaired but not during our stay. Contact hotel before your stay and make sure that the AC has been repaired. Wifi dead no reception at all.
Location it is 15mins quick walk and 20-25mins walk easy pace to the Lourdes Grotta. Staff very helpful. Room was good size. Kitchen facilities good.

BelgiumWhen we made our reservation we received a privilege genius upgrade from Booking (a 30m2 triple room); how surprised when we arrived at the hotel to be put in a regular double room, about 20 m2, which did not correspond neither to the Booking pictures nor to the description. After a few phone calls and a long discussion with the receptionist and after showing him the print-screen pictures of our reservation, we finally got the room we had booked. We were even more surprised to notice that the hotel description for that same type of room had been amended on their Booking site about one hour after our arrival the same evening! There was no air conditioning ( even if clearly mentioned in the booking description). The system had been switched off in all the guest rooms and remained off for the 8 nights that we spent in the hotel. While talking with other guests, some long term guests, the situation seemed to be like that for quite a while... Fortunately, we could get a fan from reception. Rooms were supposed to be cleaned and sheets and towels changed after 4 nights but that was not the case anymore. We had to get our clean towels and linen ourselves from reception and bring down the used ones... same thing for the rubbish bags....
The staff was nice, very helpful and responsive. The room issue we had on arrival was rapidly solved. Some electric bulbs which were broken in our room were repaired on the same day. The staff let us borrow a fan to compensate for the missing air conditioning. The internet was very good. The rooms were in a fairly good state and clean. It was possible to do your laundry at the hotel for €7. You could also borrow kitchen equipment at reception. The hotel is situated in a quiet area but still at walking distance from the Sanctuary, shops restaurants, bus stop...

ItalyInternet connection is almost zero. We would leave our mobile phones by the door as the signal is only up to that point. Only 2 small pillows. The lamps on the headboard were unsafe, as we would hit our heads as we sit upright and leaning our backs to the headboard is impossible because they lamps were attached right there! There was no room service, nobody took the garbage and replaced linens and we were only given two tissue rolls that were 'half-way" used
The hotel location was only a 10-min walk to the Sanctuary. Friendly and helpful staff, most especially the receptionist, she was bubbly and funny! Room is a clean, has kitchen facilities, which was very convenient for us because we could have coffee anytime of the day (or night). The air-conditioning is on "automatic" setting. Hot water is abundant.

FranceWe have stayed there many times and always enjoyed our stays. The hotel is clean, good location and the staff quite nice. Our only problem is that the air conditioning was not working!! With this summers heatwave we were concerned. They did offer to live us to another hotel or give us a couple of fans. We choose the latter and it worked out okay. They said they told Booking.com but that they did not update the website. So just a word of warning, if you have a health problem, make sure you contact them to make sure you have AC.

Very rude customer service. Not clean rooms smelt bad of food. We have previously stayed here and it was good but this year it has been very bad.
