Great location , our room had a great sea view. Buffet style breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended for a short stay before heading into France.

    We found everything O.K.

Only 10 minutes from the tunnel. Pleasant staff. Large spacious, bright room. An excellent buffet breakfast. Ample parking around the hotel.

Unusually, compared to our previous stays, the room was cold. Neither heater, in the bedroom or bathroom, were working. As the hotel closes at 9pm we could not take this up at reception.

This was our overnight stay on our return trip home. Spacious room with kitchenette if needed. Convenient for our early tunnel crossing. There is no restaurant in the hotel but snacks, I believe, are available and there is a cafe/restaurant next door. The menu there is predominantley moules + or burgers - no vegetarian options. About 10minutes walk away there is a good Indian restaurant and various other bistros. The breakfast in the Residence de Golf is excellent.

Didn’t bother with breakfast. We didn’t think that €14 is a good price.

Don’t get room 101 right next to front door and opposite reception so get noise late night and early morning check outs That size nothing wrong with room just not ideal for a quiet stay Breakfast not worth £14

Good location Close to ferry Beach literally right in front of hotel Staff very friendly and helpful Clean room Excellent value at £52 for a Saturday night stay Close enough to walk to Calais town centre

I know this isn't something which can be changed given the design of the building, but the WC is quite tight with an inward opening door. As a person with restricted mobility I did struggle with that. However my husband was fine with it.

This hotel is really practical for us. The kitchenette is a really great feature and has a good sized fridge and microwave. It gives us flexibility to eat in or out as we feel. Nicely decorated shower room. The staff were friendly and helpful.

In the dark the car park was a bit difficult to find first (but a friendly staff member gave instructions on the phone).

Right opposite the beach, close to ferries and tunnel, good parking, pleasant restaurant next door, friendly staff, dogs allowed.

Room looked as if at some point guests had trashed it and it had been mostly repaired but not completed. Had milk and sugar with kettle but no coffee or tea. Hairdryer was missing though holder was there.

Location for Chunnel was excellent and restaurant/bar adjacent to hotel. On site parking

Noisy at night and early in the morning if your room faces the restaurant next door to the hotel. You can hear the neighbour’s room and people walking on floors above, there little to none soundproofing.

Location is good but away from Calais city centre, right next to the beach. Rooms are big and can accommodate a couple of adults in a double bed and 2 young kids in a bunk bed. Owner is friendly.

    Nothing really

Basic room but very spacious, bright and clean. Well positioned for getting to Eurotunnel. Pleasant staff with an excellent buffet breakfast. No restaurant in the hotel but there are many (French, Iindian/Pakistani, Italian) establishments within walking distance.
