The hotel would be lovely but we we’re not told until the week before we came that they were renovating it so there was only a makeshift lobby and we had to use alternative parking which we had to pay for.

The room was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed for a stopover.

The hair dryer was diabolical. There was renovation work happening, which was not advised to us before checkin.

The hotel was very close to the train station and a short walk to the city centre. The breakfast was mor than adequate. The room was fine for my 19 year old daughter and I.

This was a great hotel for family stays. Room worked well for four people. Bathroom was great with choice of shower or bath and the separate toilet made it easier to access. Location was perfect, we avoided the low emission zone but could walk to the town centre easily. Staff were really helpful and ensured we would be able to park our van when we arrived. This was really important to us as this was a stop over on our drive home to England from Italy.

Great location. Parking next door. Clean rooms and breakfast area. Ideal for a mid point stop on our way to the alps. Bonus was the fab Christmas market in town. Plenty of nice places to eat a 10 min walk from the hotel too.

A little noisy as the dog barked through out the night in response to movements of neighbours

The carpets are stained and there’s a lot of real wear for furnishings, etc. The location isn’t great because to get to the center of town, you have to walk up and down different flights of stairs through the train station the long way. Also, there really aren’t restaurants nearby, so you always have to walk through the train station.

It was a large sized room and a reasonable price compared to others in the center of the city. The beds were not bad. We had a twin room with one large double bed and a tiny single (probably would have suited an actionable more than an adult). The place was generally clean and the staff was friendly. There’s a bar which is nice - the front desk staff make the drinks but there’s a good sized room with tables.
