Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing! I'll be back.
Great place, 400 metres from the Metro and some shops. VERY quiet - I was on the street and hardly heard a thing. The breakfast was very good indeed, fresh fresh fruit and good bread and pastries.

BelgiumThe room was clean, the breakfast was tasty. However, on my last morning it was interrupted by the fire alarm. Fortunately, it was false alarm and I could continue my breakfast.

NetherlandsThe hotel starts ageing, and you can see it here and there. WiFi was patchier than necessary, but it worked alright when the connection functioned. Coffee at breakfast was horrendous. Finally, I would not consider it a big issue, but the configuration of the shower is a little stupid - whatever you do, there will be water on the floor (the glass door is only half-height and when in a 'close' position, there is water going under it and over to the sink table.
Former Kyriad hotel, currently managed independently. We were checked in by a friendly gentleman late into the night, he did speak reasonable English (as my French is non-existent). The room was on the 1st floor, facing towards the inner yard and it featured a balcony. It was no use at this time of the year (end of November), but is definitely an added value in Summer. The room was clean and had all things necessary for a short stay. We also found 2 welcome bottles of water in the mini-fridge. The bed was absolutely comfy and we slept well. The breakfast was not abundant, but the quality of everything was rather high (except coffee - but chances of finding good coffee in France are close to zero anyways). It was sufficient to set one up for a day of explorations. All in all, it was a good value stay.

UkraineThe hotel may need a little modern renovation, but the classic interior doesn't spoil it either. There was a broken kettle. No, it worked, but the lid was cracked, I was always afraid that it would completely fall off.
Nice room in a calm, quiet hotel with an excellent location, close to the center. Friendly staff. It was nice that there were a couple of bottles of water in the room to catch my breath.

GermanyBreakfast was not very special, one would expect more when you are in France (e.g. better omelettes, more special cheeses).
The room was large (compared to Paris standards) and well equipped. The location is not central but easy reachable by Metro. On the other hand once can experience much more of the Paris for locals. Enough places to eat and coffees around too, nice area.

Canada1- the pillows are terrible . I dread coming back because of the pillows please change them 2- apart from a super tiny cupboard with a few hangers , no whatsoever place to put the clothes , not one drawer, not one shelf ! Neither in bathroom or in entrance or in room It would be easy to replace the side tables by tables with drawers and put a drawer cabinet under the desk Very unconvenient despite we are ine a PRESTIGE room.
Convenient location and quiet
